My child loves fashion and clothes, and was excited to make their own little fashion clothes. The box was rammed full of everything you need to make doll size clothes. It was full to the brim of different materials, and embellishments. The mannequins themselves were sturdy and came with stands to keep them upright. My child found this relatively easy, but could be fiddly for a younger child. There are instructions included as a beginners guide, which was really easy to read and really helpful. Great gift idea for budding fashion designers.

I especially like that she could have used it at a much earlier age as there is a no sewing option where the clothes are held together with velcro that is stuck to the fabric. The mannequins have a groove in the back to insert the fabric and hold it in place while you finish your design then it can either be sewn or stuck together. Having two mannequins means that she will be able to use this with a friend which is nice. As I said earlier there are two options for this set a no sewing one for younger children and a sewn one for older children so it has some longevity which is always a good thing. I think it is very well priced at £19.99 (at time of ordering) and makes a lovely gift for a wide range of ages.

My daughter was gifted on of these (age 9) and I was initially worried that it would be too young for her but she has had hours and hours of fun with it. With 2 manikins and oodles and oodles of fabric, this kit is packed to the brim with bits and bobs to encourage creative play - both independent or with a friend. Definitely a win in this house. Great value for money.
