I’ve tried so many things for slow and smelly drains. The traditional draino or vinegar and baking soda just weren’t doing the trick anymore so I tried a two pack of this foam. I used the two cans on four sinks. The video shows how easy and quickly it works and the photo shows the debris from the drain after about 30 minutes of applying the product. It was easy to wipe away the crud, as all the foam had dissolved, and then I ran hot water for a minute or two and the drains were speedy and odor free. I don’t know how “good” this product is for drains, but it certainly solves my issues! I would recommend, as have other reviews, to remove any hair prior to using this foam. That could be done with a drain snake.

We use bar soaps which tend to cause soap scum to build up in the pipes and requires regular cleaning. Recently we discovered that we had a major backup in our upstairs drains, so I ordered the two pack to clear the drains. First, we used a disposable snake to remove the physical obstructions, then we blasted the drains with this foaming cleaner. In our sinks it was impossible to get a clean seal so I had to use more cleaner than you might if your drain is positioned in such a way as to allow a tight seal, so one bottle did the two sinks. I ran hot water through when the cleaner had sat for about 30 minutes and the drains ran perfectly. The tub posed a challenge because I had to remove the plug with a screwdriver to get a tight seal, but that did allow a tight seal and a huge amount of buildup was cleared out. I cleaned that drain twice because of the amount of buildup that cleared out. It used the second bottle entirely but for the amount of drain buildup that needed to be cleared out it was worth it. The tub drain now works perfectly and I was able to clean it really nicely for the first time in weeks. I would HIGHLY recommend this cleaner.

It is impossible to fit over the drain; because, the water spout is in the way.

Unless it fits underneath your faucet, I don’t think it’s worth the hassle. It doesn’t work well if you can’t get a real seal on it. The video attached is what happened when I tried it on my bathroom sink where it didn’t fit.I do have faith that it probably works well if you can stand it upright like it’s intended! Maybe the manufacturers should make a shorter can…
