Easy beginner set but still good quality.
This is a great value caligraphy pen it was only 20$ roughly and came witha varitey of nibs for different writing style and the instrctions were pretty useful. Now I have noticed in order to have the best ink flow and writing its bets to hold the pen more upright than a traditional fountain pen, but considering this is a dip pen that uses gravity to operate it makes sense. The one thing i do wish is that it came with something to store the nibs in. You'll be on your own there.

First Dip Pen Set
I'm new to calligraphy and dip pens, so I was thrown for a little loop when I discovered that the three Bandzug nibs were right-footed oblique nibs. This means that the flat nib edge is slanted, not straight. (Google Images does a better job of illustrating this than words ever could.) When writing with it, you need to position the pen nib differently than you would a straight edge nib - so there will be a bit of a learning curve if you're only practiced in writing with a straight edge nib like the one you find on a Pilot Parallel Pen.Also, as seems to the be case with most (all?) nibs, I had to prep it before use by running it through a flame. (I highly recommend doing some internet research for more detailed instructions/tips/warnings regarding how to properly do this so as to not destroy your nibs). Rinsing in boiling water and later soapy water didn't do the trick - but the flame did.

P*E*R*F*E*C*T* THE BEST
I learned on Speedball, and I just always thought this can't be right. It was always going dry so quickly. I thought it must be the ink type I am using. Changed ink. Tried new nibs. I was doing research and found Brause was an even ratio of fans and dislikes. Personally, of ALL the Nibs I have tried, I am IN LOVE. It holds ink, it writes the way I am comfortable with. The holder is attractive and wooden and it has a little metal looking mechanism that sits within the hollow end (where the nib goes) and it holds it into place very well.I cannot say enough. I am so happy I tried this brand, I am a huge fan and will continue to only use Brause products for my Calligraphy hobby.Do it. You won't be disappointed.

Great selection of nibs with a holder
Great selection of nibs with a holder. Allows you to get a feel for which nib style you like. The packaging is fine, and the nibs arrived safe and sound. I've enjoyed these nibs, and will be ordering more of the Pfannen and Steno, but I like being able to experiment with all of them. These are high quality nibs and it makes a world of difference in control and consistency.

If I am allowed to will add photo
Cannot get a refund as shipped overseas. The nib holder doe not work. The clamp literally broke off. Which means all the other nibs are worthless. The 3mm seems to work okay but did not do a lot of writing with it. Terrible product

Cracked
After having this for fifteen days, and trying two of the nibs, the holder is cracked.About half an inch, at the nib end, where the metal part that holds the nib has an opening. I don't think I've done anything unreasonable with it.

Holder cracks easily
The holder cracked the first time I used it. Don't know why. Really fragile... Nibs are good but on the dry end.

Five Stars
The nibs are great. My favorite is the Steno. They were better than the Speedball that I have tried.
