This HejWellness Pure Shilajit Resin boasts being lab-tested and organic, which perhaps explains its smaller serving size and price. It has a 75% fulvic acid and the shilajit is mixed with some other common herbs (ashwagandha, moringa, flaxseed, etc.) as opposed to others that are more concentrated with fulvic acid for absorption. This particular shilajit is very thick with the consistency of cold syrup and the smell and taste of bitter molasses. Others out there have lower viscosity, but with warm water and some vigorous stirring, it mostly dissolves and is tolerable. I also tried it straight from the spoon but it coated my throat a bit and gave the slight sensation of constriction, so I wouldn't recommend that method.As for the effects, so far they've been subtle, but my energy (or at least lack of mid-day lull) has been more consistent. Libido is also a bit higher, but that effect has been more intermittent and influenced by other supplements. I also have yet to take it consistently and long enough to speak of the long-term benefits, but I will update if I notice a significant difference.I appreciate the organic and lab-tested features of this shilajit, but I do wish it was a bit thinner in consistency. The taste isn't terribly pleasant, but I don't think you'd even know it's there if you mixed it into your coffee. For now, I'm happy to see some results, but I don't know if I'll try it again unless I see more as time goes on.

I've gone through about 4 jars of shilajit this year (each a different brand) and each has product has had its own unique signature. This particular shilajit has the perfect viscosity that allows it to easily be scooped out of the jar without too much effort to avoid the fine strings that come off of it. It also has a very pleasant smell, better than the others. I'd definitely order more of this product!

I've tested numerous shilajit products and while this one is not the best, it's definitely in the top. 1)sticky & thick, definitely not runny like the worst. 2)Burn test-turns to cinders/ashes and doesn't catch on fire 3) dissolves in water. Although the packaging has labels regarding lab testing/GMP/etc there is no supporting info for those claims anywhere. Also states "manufactured for ....." which could mean anything. What I don't like is the lack of information regarding actual manufacturing/source location, process, lab testing results, etc. The best of the best will provide ALL this information. The others - no info provided, and this is probably for a reason. For that reason alone, I'm not sure I would ingest something that I wasn't completely sure where & how it was processed. But overall it did perform amongst the best I've tested (although not #1).
