Waiting for baby to arrive so it has given us chance to read the other reviews on this product which have been really helpful because there does not seem to be any instructions other than both ink pads stating "Do not touch Turn card over" - we did not quite understand that but having read the instructions in the description it makes sense now - the ink pad goes face down onto the imprint card and baby stands on the reverse side of the pad so that the ink is transferred to the imprint card without coming into contact with baby's skin - simple but effective - cant wait for baby to arrive so that we can see the result.We got the red ones but it looks like they also do pink and black so if these work out good we will get the pink ones next time.

This kit works well and allows you to capture prints with no messJust make sure to line up carefully and of course you only get one chance per pad

A huge problem I had with this kit is that it comes with no instructions. The kit comes with two packs, each containing an ink pad and two pieces of card. The card is not amazing quality, but works well enough. The inkpad is made of a cardboard frame with an inked membrane stretched across it. The frame has a warning printed on it, "Do not touch, turn card over." That's it in terms of instructions.The ink pad is used by placing the pad on one of the pieces of card with the side carrying the printed message facing the card. This creates a kind of drum with the inked membrane held away from the card.The hand, foot, or other item to be printed is pushed firmly against the the membrane and this transfers an image from the inked side onto the card.My first result wasn't great and I only managed a partial print. The second attempt is shown in the attached photo.The resulting print is serviceable, but not the best I've seen. I would also recommend that black might be a better colour since the red is a bit garish. It's not super expensive, so if you manage your expectations it might be worth a try.

It’s a great idea but the ink gets everywhere

The inkless print pads are a brilliant innovation, making the process mess-free and safe for my newborn's delicate skin. The instructions were straightforward, allowing me to capture my baby's tiny handprints and footprints effortlessly. The prints came out clear and detailed, preserving those precious moments perfectly. The four imprint cards provided are of excellent quality, thick enough to ensure durability over time. I especially appreciated having multiple cards, as it allowed us to share this special memory with grandparents and keep a set for ourselves. Overall, this kit is a fantastic way to create lasting keepsakes without any fuss.

We got this as i previously got a baby set with clay imprint that didn't really work so we figured this would be an interesting idea.I mentioned to my partner ahead of time i had picked this up and that it would create an ink print.. unfortunately the excitement was a bit much and she decided to make a baby footprint with our little one ready for father's day. It wasa lovely gesture and it worked to a degree, but unfortunately they didn't reaf the instructions and tried baby's foot on the ink side and then press the card. This made a HUGE mess of baby, and the print, and the towel baby was sat on, and took a huge number of wet wipes to clean baby's foot.After a team rethink and reading the instructions, not touching the side that says "do not touch" we did get a lovely clean print and baby remained spotless.It is easy to use. Just put the card/ paper on the table, the ink sleeve with the "do not touch" face down on the paper, then press the back of the plastic of the ink sheet. It creates an easy print with lots of detail. You can see lines and prints which is cool. Just remember the prints take a very long time for the ink to dry. So lay them flat and out the way for a good few hours .Good quality and value, recommended. This would also make a lovely baby shower gift. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful
