I have really been impressed with these. I have been using them strictly as a base layer, like long boxer briefs that have the added benefit of a pocket...and they perform really well for me. The biggest complaint I have with boxer briefs is the way they constantly ride up, but I do still prefer them for working out in, and these seem to work really well for Crossfit or just going for a run, and don't ride up as much as some of my other kinds do. I think that is partially due to the long inseam, but regardless, I'm pleased about it. May be buying more soon.

I wear these under some shorter workout shorts and you can see around 2 inches of the compression shorts which creates a nice layered look. I like how these feel and help to keep everything 'contained'. I can'y vouch for sports but these are versatile for running, cycling, weight lifting and these are also perfect for yoga, as nothing will fall out. I wash with other whites and materials to avoid dulling the white or having color transfer. They wash well. The fit is perfect for me. They sit above the knee and grace the hip at the right point meaning they don't slip down at the back which is a real pain in other similar shorts I have tried. These are definitely designed to worn underneath shorts. You definitely would not run in these alone. Sweat makes the material quite see through. They are not running tights. I'm happy with this order and will buy more.

I wear shorts like this for my home spin and cardio classes and compared to several name-brand pairs I own, these are just as comfortable and high quality. I really like the pockets; they are spacious enough for a large cell phone but feel very secure. Fit is as expected. Probably the best thing about these shorts is the price - currently under $10, usually nice exercise shorts like this are at least twice that. I really wish there were more colors available - red/green/gray/blue etc would be very nice, but currently it looks like only black or white are available. Still, very pleased with this order and am considering getting another pair soon.
