Perfect upgrade to my HD650s - the original foam was falling apart and I don't have that problem anymore. The headband cushion is also great

Comfortable, looks great, and (most importantly) they didn't change the sound signature!!!
Can't praise the product enough! Been looking for a replacement pair of earpads as the original that came with the unit are in their last breath. My concern before pulling the trigger was that they could potentially change the sound signature for the worse. But after fitting them with my HD 650, I can confirm that the sound signature hasn't changed (for better or worse). They also look great!

Ruins the sound
The pads completely dull the sound. No highs, no bass. Just totally ruined tonality. Just do yourself a favor and get pads from sennheiser themselves. Dont even bother with 3rd partyThe two stars go to the headband padding which I did keep. Such a shame, the leather smells great and you can tell it is quality. Unfortunately, it totally changes tonality

My HD6XX is like new! The sound is a bit different from the stock pads. A bit bassier. They breath less too but are still very comfortable to wear. This is to be expected since the materials are different. Overall I like them a lot.
