When moving back to the UK after 20 yrs in Australia I didn't think knitting would be a hobby again and gave all my knitting items to a charity shop.Now, one of my daughters is having a first baby and would love some hand knitted items. So it's back in fashion! Who Knew!This set of knitting needles is just what I needed.There are 11 pairs in half sizes from 2.00mm to 8.00mm and are extra long.I have been used to aluminium needles ,so I was pleasantly surprised at how light and easy these stainless steel needles are to knit with.They are individually packaged in sizes and every needle is smooth and straightI will need a 3.25mm set at some point and will have to buy that set individually but no matter. This is a good, basic set of needles and I would buy them againGood Value and Recommended

Well made and easy to use, good purchase

This knitting needle set is fantastic, a really good range of sizes, each pair comes in a plastic sleeve which protects them from damage & has the size of the needles clearly printed on the front.I can’t say how good they are for knitting, as I specifically purchased them for a different use. I wanted to make my own jump rings for jewellery making, but the mandrels available for this purpose are ridiculously expensive, so I purchased these knitting needles instead, & they’re brilliant for the purpose! I can wind loads of crafting wire onto each needle to create jump rings in a vast variety of sizes, then I just slide the wire coil off the needles & cut the coil into individual rings, it saves me loads of time, & is much cheaper than buying ready made rings. I’m delighted that I’ve found an ingenious & inexpensive alternative use for this set, that really works!

The knitting needle selection is brilliant and such good value for money. The needles themselves are of excellent quality and very lightweight with the size marked clearly on the top. Each pair is packaged in its own storage cover and whether you're actually knitting, casting on or off etc, wool of any variety ie double knitting or chunky glides smoothly on them. I recommend this assorted pack without hesitation.

I've bought cheap needles before and they were not worth the money, they bent and the points were so blumt I found them impossible to use. I was therefore a bit worried that I may have made the same mistake as these are quite cheap too. I was so wrong and they are fantastic. They are made of steel so they're strong and won't bend, they taper to a fine pont which makes them slip into the stitches easily and they are long so can accommodate a fairly large garment. Im sure I shall be using these for a very long time.
