Everything from the packaging to the little explanatory cards attached to various components is so well thought out. I have rarely seen a product where the designers put this much effort into anticipating users' needs.Using the little foot that attaches to the tripod mounting socket, the sling lets me carry my EOS R7 and 100-400 lens behind my hip in the perfect position to grab it and swing it up to my eye without catching on my birding binoculars. When I am done, it goes back behind my hip just as easily.

Upgraded from a Slide Lite, to the OG Slide last year, and I do not plan on going back.

This is just what I needed for travel and for wildlife photography. Easy to use and very comfortable. I’m happy with this purchase.

Moved into the Peak ecosphere from Black Rapid. Excellent quality, but not as easy to initially set up and use as BR. However, the modularity and quality still make it worth the change.

The strap itself is really nice, but Peak Design apparently keeps a record of every product's unique ID, which is then tied to the purchaser's name. Regardless of one's stance on politics, from a data privacy standpoint, this seems wild and unnecessary to me. I'm not sure why they would need to do this. Sure, keep a record that I bought the strap, but why does each item have what is essentially a globally unique identifier that is forever associated with my name, which they apparently keep on record indefinitely? On top of that, they will supposedly turn over this information to whoever asks. Most companies I know that keep this level of records require subpoenas and then fight tooth and nail to avoid giving this data up.

Comfortable, easy to adjust, and seems rock solid. Not a lot of use yet, but no real concerns with strength
