Works for me, just know what u are in for before u start!!
I have been using this product for about a year and love it actually. I have been snoring all my life and never had anything really help, but this thing helps so much. I feel like if it works for u it means u actually just snore, and if it doesnt maybe sleep apnea is something that u should check on. It does discomfort, but the product warns that so it was totally expected. Took about 2-3 weeks of getting use to sleeping with it and having my jaw pushed forward. Just remember to give urself a bit of time for the placement of ur jaw to go back to normal in the morning. About 30-45 min will do, and its a small price to pay to help u and ur loved one get better sleep!

Why so much spring loading
Update: My husband used a heat gun on this to relax the spring loading. Still, even after a short time in my mouth I could feel the pressure on my teeth. This can't be a good idea. My dad was a dentist so I'm pretty informed about this kind of stuff. I feel like it would move or loosen teeth, which could cause serious bite problems. Amazon should stop selling this dangerous stuff. I really need to learn to come to product reviews EVERY TIME. Very dubious. I already have issues with muscle tension and this device is spring loaded so that you either have your mouth spread open or you have to actively use muscles to get mouth shut. This seems counter intuitive. I cannot deal with this kind of discomfort even to get started. Going to see if we can put a small hole in front edges and use a zip tie or something to hold it closed. I have other bite guards that do not require you to constantly hold pressure to keep your mouth shut. Maybe there's a reason for this but I'm so disappointed in this design. I can't fall asleep knowing my muscles are going to be made more tense. It's so uncomfortable.

For those looking to return under the 60 day trial!
There is a lot of negative reviews stating they aren’t able to return the item even though the item says it has a “60 Day risk free trial”. And I just want to clarify that you can indeed refund the item. The problem is this device goes in your mouth, so you can’t actually “return” it. They will however 100% refund you for the item. So if you go through your orders to start a “return” it won’t work. Instead just start a chat or call in to Amazon to get a “refund”. Yes, it would be a little more convenient to be able to initiate a refund through the app without contacting anyone (maybe there is and I just couldn’t find it) but it took all of 5 minutes to start a chat with a representative and have my purchase refunded. Now, to the product it’s self and why I gave 5 stars. I mainly gave 5 stars because they honored the “60 day risk free trial”. I didn’t give 6 stars because it didn’t work for me. I couldn’t in good conscious give a low star review because the product does seem to be of good quality and I can see how it might work for someone else. So, just because it didn’t work for me, doesn’t mean it won’t work for others. I mainly bought this product because unlike most I have actually had multiple sleep studies done and do in fact have a sleeping disorder. My sleep disorder is not causing the snoring, but from the sleep studies I have proved I don’t have sleep apne. So I’m 100% positive my snoring is a result of sleeping on my back, mouth open, and swallowing my tongue. So this product could work for me, however, it just won’t stay in my mouth. After about a month of use, no matter what, my wife keeps waking me up to roll over so I stop snoring, and I find I have spit the device out of my mouth. Yes like others have stated, it does make your teeth a little sore, and that part does get better over time. I just can’t keep the thing in my mouth. So unfortunately it’s time to try something else. Ps: I will say though that the nasal dilators work really well! I swear my nose is chronically stuffed and feel like my nose airway is always restricted but I can immediately feel a massive difference with the dilators in.

Worked for me
This worked like a charm for me. I’ve been using it approximately 3 months- I use size 2. I have mild sleep apnea and this is my first time using any sort of oral appliance - my doctor recommended a few brands and I decided to try Z Quiet. The first morning after using it I immediately could tell that my breathing had been better overnight. It also made a huge difference in my snoring. My wife used to kick and elbow me every night because of my horrible snoring. Now, she says most nights she doesn’t hear me snore at all, and the few times she has heard me, she said it’s about 25% of the volume that it used to be. My teeth do get mildly sore, but I only really notice it when I first wake up and it gets better pretty quickly. I’d say by 60-90 min after I wake up, I don’t feel any soreness at all. I generally don’t write reviews but I wanted to submit this one because it really has made a big difference in my life. I’m sleeping better, my wife is sleeping better, and I just feel healthier because I’m more well-rested.
