TaylorMade SiM 2 Titanium Rocket Fairway Mens

I “outgrew” my Ping woods. The offset made the hook machines as my swing improved. I like that the fairway has minimal offset-which means I can hit it straight.This wood launches the ball like a rocket. Miss-hits are forgiving. What more would you want in a club.

The media could not be loaded.  This is an amazing fairway driver. I’ve had the privilege of using or owning several other TaylorMade golf clubs and I have always been impressed with them. When I saw these new SIM 2 fairway drivers I had to have one. I’ve had the same set of clubs for about a decade and they have served me well, but I never had a fairway driver that I loved until I got this one.First off, the design and style of this club is pretty awesome. This is what I would expect newer/fancier clubs to look like. The carbon fiber looks great paired with all the other accent pieces and I love the blue in the design. Even the head cover looks pretty good.The grip is really really comfortable and provide excellent traction with my hands. The extra stiff shaft on this club has been perfect for me and my swing style. I prefer this over the more flexible options.There’s something about hitting a ball with this driver that just feels awesome. The club fees very forgiving and seems to perform great even when I don’t connect with the ball just right. The sound it makes is more of a satisfying “crack” instead of a ping or thud. It almost sounds like the crack of a walnut shell, in fact I had a friend try it out and he got nervous for a second when he heard the crack sound thinking he broke something and then realized that’s just the tune of this driver. I really like it.I’ve noticed that the way the driver come set is perfect for me. I was expecting to have to use the head adjustments to tune it to my swing style, but it is perfect on the “standard” setting. I frequently have issues with slicing to the right, but with this club I seem to hit straight or near straight very time.The weight of the club feels perfect and it actually feels like I swing faster with this than my old fairway driver even though I’m not trying to swing harder.Overall I have been very impressed with this driver and am very happy with it. I highly recommend adding this to your bag!

GREAT CLUB

I’m having trouble believing that this is a real Taylor made wood. It doesn’t feel real, doesn’t make the correct noise, and all around just seems off to me. Will be returning the club for full refund. It game in a bag with Chinese all of it, all in all not 100% sure and for 450$ it shouldn’t be a question of authenticit…
