1000 LPH 11W Large Solar Powered Water Feature Fountain Pond Pump with Battery Back Up and LED Light

Have been looking for a solar pump for home made waterfall for months. This does the job perfectly. Have even started planning extra feature to add to fountain as this will lift the water over 1m in height. While in direct sun runs well with some power on battery for maybe an hour. Tried turning pump off while panel was in the sun so could have on for 3 hours in the evening and worked really well

The media could not be loaded.  Replaced the plug in pump that came with my three tiered waterfall feature with this solar powered pump. Only been running it for a couple of days and even when the sun goes behind clouds it carries on. However if it's cloudy all day long it doesn't run very much at all. but from first impressions it's pretty good. The battery backup seems more to balance out the up and downs on the sunny but cloudy day. I think it would only run in the dark if it had been a cloudless day. I don't imagine it will run at all in winter.

Bought this to use for a 1.5 metre high home made rock waterfall. So far working very well. Good pressure of water coming out, and even works in evening when sun has gone in

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to assemble and set up. I have used it with some hose pipe rather than the fountain sprays that it came with. I wanted to move water from a deeper part of my pond to a shallow area and it works well for this. There is good suction and flow. HOWEVER I find it only really works well in full sun and the supposed back up battery charge does not last long at all. Yet to see it work into the evening. But it is ok for what I wanted so I am happy overall. If you want something that is on for more than a couple of hours a day you may want to choose something different. If you just want want intermittent flow depending on weather this works well.

Strong / powerful pump in a compact size

The media could not be loaded.  An update; had this running a couple of weeks now, the weather has changed but despite cloud & rain at time of writing the pump is still running, not bothering with the battery at all during the day.I did a lot of research before buying including the cost/effort of installing a dedicated cable /electric pump (cable installation about £60+), I decided on this mainly as it appeared to give enough flow for the height of my water feature (about 1m), as can be seen from the video it’s working well even on a cloudy day, my only comment is about the battery, it requires manual activation, in my case the solar panel is mounted high up to achieve the best effect (plus I have dogs so ground level would be an issue), that makes it really difficult to access the on/off battery switch (hence only 4 stars), other than that very pleased with the purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  I have been searching for a "solar pump" that does the job of an electric pump for my 3 tier barrel water feature.Ordered Saturday night and received by Monday morning! Easy to setup and immediately on flow for the next 4 hours ( late evening around 7pm)I have used 200 LPH (Blagdon) before but was annoyed by the trickling sound - for a good space garden, i can hardly hear the feature.This pump works heavenly,from morning until sunsetsThere is no flow control ( refer video ) just a bag of pebbles will do...(easy tips!)I am enjoying my little tropics more than ever, when you cant travel back home due to covid, bring the tropical vibes into your garden :)

I’ve had this pump running in our pond for nearly 3 weeks now and have waited some time before submitting my review as I wanted to give the battery the time to get to full charge over a period of days to see it run to its full potential. Having had it running/charging all day in full sun for over a week we tried turning the pump on one evening to get some longer running time out of it. The battery only lasted for about 40mins (advertised running time is 4-6 hours once charged). So then we plugged the lights in and set the battery running one evening ...... nothing..... no lights at all. We’ve now plugged in a 12v DC power supply on an extension cable to at least keep some air going into the pond whilst we await an alternative pump to arrive.So ..... if you want a pump that only runs in pure sun and don’t want to rely on the battery backup facility or the advertised evening light feature, save your money and buy a non-battery one that will be significantly cheaper and give you the same performance.We’re now quite upset at the waste of money spent on a product that doesn’t deliver as described and have asked to return the product and gain a refund. It’s a shame because when the pump is running it’s a great little pump that is surprisingly powerful.
