Poor packing resulting in damaged merchandise.
Great book, but poorly packed. The bottom of the spine is badly damaged.

An excellent book
This is a superb book with extremely good coverage of the car and its history. Cover of its rivals (Bugatti and Maserati) would benefit from more detail but adequate. Such a shame that these wonderful cars rarely race against their peers save for pricy and high profile events. A really good book for the motor racing enthusiast.

I love anything to do with pre war 8c Alfas
I love anything to do with pre war 8c Alfas, and this is the biography of one of the greatest racing 8cs, and the first to be imported into this country. It is written by a great motor journalist, potty about prewar 8c Alfas, so what is not to like?Mick Walsh writes beautifully about his favorite subject, and one that he has good practical and mechanical knowledge about, which makes for a thoroughly enjoyable, interesting and educating read. Great stuff!
