This is a sturdy metal hold down, but still very lightweight and is easy to install in just a couple of minutes if you have the right tray for this type of hold down.It fits well over a Walmart Everstart Maxx battery in size H5. Once you are sure the plate will fit over your battery you take the hook-ended screw rods and put them into place, hooks go through the holes on either side of the battery so the posts stand up. Slide the plate over the top and then put on the washer and nut to tie it down. It takes only a couple of minutes and holds the battery firmly in place. I really like its look and abilities, This is much more preferable to me than the clip-in holders.On a side note, do not trust Amazon's "will this fit your vehicle" calculator. It did not fit my vehicle, I had to use another persons car to do this review. This product will require a tray with holes on either side of the battery to work properly.Overall from my brief use of this product, I definitely believe it will do the job it's made for and feel comfortable with a 5 out of 5 rating on it.

The media could not be loaded. This looks better than those parts store specials! It's tough,good looking,and it's affordable. It comes with the bolts too. This is a very heavy-duty replacement part.
