You will love it
I use this bit to drill 1/2 inch plate on hitch plates for trucks. I keep oil on it all the time and it stays sharp and cool. Keeping these bits cool is the key to longevity. It is alot faster than your traditional hole saw. Be sure to wear gloves as it shaves tiny spheres of metal. I made the mistake of not wearing my gloves only once. Well worth the money.
