Romax D Block 25 - Rat & Mouse Killer 300g

I liked this product due to the ease and clean way to use it. Bought for the presence of a couple of mice which have since gone. I very much appreciated the leaflet which was supplied with it the information how to deal with vermin helped a good deal

Kills rats fast

the product arrived when they said put it in shed where rodents were they took to it right away

We ordered this product because it contained the same active ingredients as the product used by our local council's pest controller. However the poison kept disappearing but the rats remained. We ended up having to get the local council pest controller back. We showed him what we had bought. He said that it would work eventually, but it is much weaker than the industrial strength stuff that professionals use.

Like most things for home garden use they are not effective. They look like large OXO cubes and are easy to handle but they are not taken by the rat/s near my kitchen window. I even spread butter on them when they were ignored thinking that would encourage them but not so. The rat showed himself yesterday, days after I had placed the still un-eaten bait.

While I didn't buy this on Amazon, I wanted to give a review on the product. This product works well if it's nailed down, as the rats tend to take it away and store it for winter food, rather than eating it on the spot, so nailing it down, or covering it with a bit of chicken wire, so that they can't remove it, and are then forced to eat it where it is. This will then have the desired effect.
