Great for a small tank but not bright enough otherwise
I have bought these before as the twin, and they lasted a good few years before the cable wore from me having it too tightly wrapped up I think. The cord length is very long so you would have no trouble reaching a far away socket. The leds were still fine and had obviously got very wet from condensation and splashes over the years, so I do recommend these lights overall.I have now bought the triple as a replacement and have it installed in a zig-zag fashion under the plastic lid of an 18 litre tank. At 5.4 watts they give enough light to illuminate my shrimps and a rogue guppy fry (now grown) that came with the shrimps. It's also bright enough to grow moss and a few plants. The colour cycling gives you blue-purple-red- almost white-and finally green. It fades gently but quickly into each colour. I have it set to white, and this white has a reddish tone to it which I prefer to some white lights that can look blue/cold.Take note, this light, although would stretch across a much longer and bigger tank, would not be bright enough to grow even low light plants very well. It would be ok for seeing the fish though. The only reason I bought this type of light for my 18 litre was that it can be difficult these days to find replacement led lights that fit beneath a lid. The fitting options for this light are excellent, with a choice of 3 ways and in a small tank is bright enough to grow plants. I chose to use the suction cups and they are pretty strong.

Great
I got two sets of these as they were on a warehouse deal and I needed some lights for some of my quarantine/grow out tanks. The fixings could be better - they come supplied with suction cups, brackets, screws, and double sided tape so you have a choice how to mount them. I didn't want to drill the (external) surface I want them on so opted for the tape. Unsurprisingly it didn't last five minutes. It's just bog standard thin tape; no way it was going to last. I ended up using a bit of no more nails to mount the brackets and that has worked just fine. The lights themselves are adequate and perfect for placement over three small tanks in a row. The light isn't that powerful but the willow moss and guppy grass in a couple of the tanks is growing at a decent rate anyway.

just what i wanted.
got bored of looking at a black tank when the lights go out so bought a moon light.i'm using this on a juwel 450 and it produces just the right amount of light.the cardinals glow and i can see all the other fish doing their night time thing.looks really nice.

Faulty?
The last strip seems to get less power than the rest making it less bright...

Not Good
Quite simply these are awful, dull beyond belief and fiddly to install. Really disappointed as the non daisy white light ones are crazy good.
