Well, if the old filter was reasonably clean and placing this product into their vacuum cleaner results in an INCREASE in suction power then there is cause for concern as it would mean that this filter is NOT a true HEPA H13 filter. The finer mesh of a HEPA H13 filter should result in an increase of resistance to air passing through and therefore a DECREASE in suction power (whether that decrease is bothersome will depend on user preference and needs).For my part, I was replacing a Numatic Henry Micro's MicroTex filter which, according to one source offers HEPA H11 level filtration. So assuming the source is correct, and this Qualtex filter is indeed a H13 level filter, then short of using specialist equipment it is not going to be possible for me to notice any difference in suction power, but if you are going from a standard filter to an H11 or H13 spec filter then there ought to be a noticeable reduction in auction power (even if the resultant loss doesn't prevent the vacuum cleaner from being effective in use).- CommentIt would be great, and reassuring, if the retailer and/or the manufacturer could add information to this product listing to address the three major flaws: no filter care information, no filter lifespan information, and no verification or certification of the filter specification (and answers along the lines of "we are a reputable manufacturer of filters trading for many years [bla bla bla]" do NOT count as certification).~ Review ScoreFor the reasons outlined above I have given this product three stars, and would happily increase that to five if all the flaws that I mention are addressed satisfactorily.

Fits perfectly in my Henry, dust out put has gratey reduced. I suffer with allergies and this seems to have made a big difference. So far so good.

Pros: combined with the HepaFlo bags, it seems to filter out dust and smells a lot better than the standard 'filter' which is just a pathetic sheet of cotton.Cons: fit isn't tight enough, and likely doesn't create a 100% seal. Down to manufacturing tolerances and the fact this is an aftermarket filter.Recommended? Yes!
