Lol ! I was not expecting them to be so small. Actually, they are the perfect size, the 3D resin models that I craft with, have tedious areas that are sometimes hard to file , I would recommend getting the adhesive sand paper that is by the same company, or any adhesive sand paper will do. I’m happy with this purchase. They are extremely durable and will last a very long time, the adhesive sand paper I used on them work well and don’t slip while in use. It’s a good value for the money. If you have miniature 3D models you craft on, these will be extremely useful, or actually they’ll be useful for anything or any craft. They will come in handy for my latest projects.

When I first bought these, I thought I would just need 2 or 3 and probably not use the other ones. That was wrong. Except for the extra wide (biggest) one which is almost the same as the next biggest one, I have been using ALL of the sticks. I like to put rougher grit on one side, like 400, and finer grit on the other side like 800 or 1000. The corresponding miniature sand paper packs for this work perfectly and stay stuck to the sticks. The advantage of carbon fiber is it can be more rigid than most metals (so it won’t bend slightly out of shape, but it can still break so be careful) so it’s great for light sanding work like miniatures. For anyone into 3D printing or painting minis, you should get these. I do kind of wish they would replace that biggest one with a different shape, like maybe a curved one or something, since it is redundant. Also, a sanding note for painters - if you are going to paint it, you probably don’t need any grits above 1000, since the extra smoothness will not show up after painting (say 1500 vs 1000 grit) and the finer grit gives less tooth for the paint to stick.

Quality/shape looks good one of the boards came with a damaged corner.

I sort of wish they included some adhesive backed sandpaper, but I have my own. These are quite durable, and work very good. Even the smallest one is pretty strong, and the variety of sizes gives good versatility in their application.

I’ve returned to scale modeling from when I was a kid in the 70’s. I’ve been using the bigger sanding sticks and pads. With 1:48 & 1:72 scale airplanes, some areas are difficult to get to. I found these for an inexpensive price with some self adhesive sanding film, Im not going back. The tools come in a range of sizes and are very strong . They allow me to get into just about any area and get a good result.

Will buy again, these little guys are the best. This takes the sanding to another level. 100% worth it. Just get the sticky back sanding strips and you're good to go!

I've been thoroughly impressed with these items, light-weight, durable, and the differing lengths make these a great asset for touching up models (I build Gunpla). Just a fyi make sure you buy self-adhering sand paper.
