FROGG TOGGS iCOOL PVA Cooling Towel, 26" x 17", Reinforced

This is the ONLY cooling towel I will buy. It really stays cool and keeps you cool. Stays wet for hours, but somehow does NOT get your shirt wet, it’s a miracle. My husband works outside. We have had a heat wave the last few weeks. He was skeptical to even try it. He has tried a few other brands, they either didn’t keep you cool, got your shirt wet or dried quickly. I liked it so much, I bought 2 more. I keep one in the fridge, so it’s extra cold. But that is not needed. And the price is amazing too.

Love these cooling towels. Yes they dry out and get stiff. All you have to do is wet them again. Keeps campers cool.

I live in the desert and have developed heat intolerance. These are lifesavers. I've tried all kinds of cooling towels and devices, these are the best out there. Sturdy, soft, bendable, absorbent. The PVA takes some getting used to, it's a weird sensation - but they don't dry out as quickly as other materials so they work longer. I wet mine and stick it into a sealed plastic bag before I head out, and I keep a water bottle around that's just to rewet this. Pour some water in the bag with the towel and squish it around, rather than trying to pour water on the towel while you're holding it. Works great.

BEST COOLING TOWEL. I will be ordering more of these a few for work and a few for home and soccer games.

These are wonderful, so first the great part; these are AMAZING, and cooling, easy to use, simple to add fresh water or waves & wring it out to keep you cool. Awesome as a wipe while working in the garden or strolling on the beach. They REALLY help if you tend to get overheated and sweat a lot. Now, the bad part; they IMMEDIATELY start getting little "freckles" of what looks like mold patterns. Little dots ALL over the fabric. I have 3, that I rotate, and I rinse & squeeze in between uses with DrBronners castile, and warm, not hot, water. They are washed in gentle warm cycle weekly. Then they are hung on an airy line, in the sun, to dry to a stiff chamois sort of feel. EVERY ONE has gotten those freckles from the very first use. I looked on the website, and followed their protocol for mild bleach & heavy rinsing. No matter; the mold stains stay there. I can only assume they are safe, because I don't go ANYWHERE in NC without one on me, ready to use! And yes, they do "bleed" and leech dye from them, the first couple of washes, so be mindful what you clean with them!

Works very well and better than other brands

The instructions say to soak it in cold water before use. It does cool very well after that, as long as the water stays cold, which unfortunately is not very long in a high heat environment. I expected the towel to use evaporation to keep the cooling sensation, but all that happens is I end up with a wet, warm towel. Since they come in packs of two, I guess having the other one immersed in cold water and then switching them out would be helpful. A bit disappointed.

Helped keep me cool at the beach. Easy to clean and store. Highly recommended.
