++++Updated Review ++++The company got back to me quickly after this review and sent multiple handwritten notes of apology to me... and surprisingly, an entirely NEW set! I thought that was a kind thing to do when all I had originally hoped for was a replacement for the defective cobbler shaker.They did send the Boston shaker set instead of my original cobbler set, which is wonderful. Honestly, each is a quality set of bar tools overall - the pieces look gorgeous and stand up to repeated use. I have other brands of all of these individual tools since I regularly make cocktails for others and travel sometimes with them to events. I realize some people don't know how to use a cobbler shaker well and can often have an issues getting the tins apart in certain circumstances, but I do feel the original one was truly defective. I still have it and have kept trying to pry it apart to no avail. And when I thought I wasn't going to get a replacement, I bought the Etens version of the same copper cobbler and it has been fine from the start and never stuck. I don't think it's as pretty overall as this set though. I think they just need to have a QC talk with the subcontractor who machines the shakers for them. I've heard other YouTube Mixology influencers/sellers recently talk of having the same machine shop quality issues - specifically with this cobbler shaker issue - and having to return whole lots of them for re-machining. Then again, I might be the only Bare Barrel customer with this particular issue. Either way - I am now a big fan of Bare Barrel - because it's obvious they really care about their customers. I will be buying from them again.I'm adjusting my rating up substantially because of the EXCELLENT customer service of this company. And also the beauty of the set as a whole, as well as the seamless ease of use of the Boston version of this shaker.THANK YOU, Bare Barrel!+++++++++++++The copper finish on this set is gorgeous and it's one of the better stands where items don't fall off... but I have been very disappointed with the shaker. When I first got the set I noticed the top half of the shaker really had a hard time connecting with the base. It didn't sit correctly and I had to use force to hold it together at all - like it was a material defect. When I actually mixed a drink with it I did have to really carefully hold it on because as soon as I wasn't holding the pieces tightly together they just fell apart. I was willing to live with that because I love the beauty of the whole set, but today I went to strain a drink I made and the top lid for the strainer portion is just stuck. Permanently. I can see it is not sitting on straight. I have tried everything to unscrew it or loosen it: tried hot water, tried dawn dishwashing liquid, vegetable oil... eventually banging on the counter. Nothing is loosening this defectively seated strainer top. That, paired with the poor fit on the main sections of the shaker just really renders this beautifully looking shaker useless for me.Besides that, I would add as a minor thing: I'd rather have a jigger with the measurements marked inside. This one doesn't have partial measurements inside or outside... so I had to buy a separate jigger because I have a lot of fractional oz ingredients in my cocktails.All that said, it's a gorgeous set. Just not functional for me with the shaker unusable. I tried to contact the seller before posting to see if they could send me a working shaker... but Amazon help keeps pushing me to return the whole thing which is a hassle.

This set is really a great addition to any home bar- I have already recommended this to about 4 people who say they’re planning on getting a set or 2 for holiday gifts!

This set is perfect for beginner home bartenders. It has all the essential tools put together in a stylish display. The quality of the tools seems pretty great for a home set, and the quality of the shipping and box was also impressive: each individual item came carefully wrapped in tissue paper.If you're looking to get into home bartending and don't know where to start, just get this set and a copy of the Cocktail Codex, and you're good to go.

The media could not be loaded. I really love the look of this set, and I love the stand it comes with. It doesn't take up too much space and it looks great! Unfortunately, 3 of the pieces I received arrived damaged. The shaker had a lot of scratches all over it, and the tops of both wine stoppers have weird bleached-looking spots and tiny dents. I hand-washed the whole set upon arrival, but it looks like the wine stoppers were run through a dishwasher or something already. I'm not going to return it because it mostly looks great and I can position the wine stoppers so that the bad parts are in the back, but I am pretty disappointed that I paid for the most expensive set I was considering, and it arrived with damage already.The shipping took longer than most Amazon items because of the color I chose, but it did arrive earlier than they originally said, so that was a nice surprise!

This bar set is such high quality and stunning! Upon opening, the set is packaged really securely. It’s great having all the essential pieces you need to make a delicious cocktail all in one, and the stand is very well organized, sturdy, and hardly takes up any space which is a huge plus. It also looks wonderful on any bar cart or counter! The recipe cards that come with it is great for beginners getting started with making cocktails. The shaker gets the drinks ice cold and it’s rust proof. I’ve been able to make so many drinks with this and can’t wait to continue making more! This set will definitely set you up for success!

The jet black set is BEAUTIFUL and such great quality!! I’ve gotten complements on how nice it is. It was also very well packaged so everything came in perfect condition. I also love that it’s rust proof so I don’t run into any issues like I’ve had with other brands! I also love that it comes with a recipe book I feel like that’s so helpful and fun, especially if you’re looking to learn how to make and try some new drinks! Highly recommend!!

This bar set has everything. I bought one, then bought one for my sister, who is into cocktails and gin mixology. The caddy makes it easy to tote to the neighbor’s for a party.

Myself and my partner are gin and cocktails lovers and we’ve had a variety of these sets in the past.But this Bare Barrel one is by far the most superior one we’ve had the pleasure of making drinks with.The quality is outstanding - it has everything you need plus, if you ever lacked a bit of inspiration on what to drink they also include a fantastic little recipe guide with some stunning cocktails.Shipping was fast - communication from the seller was fantastic.10/10 - highly recommended!!

Good quality for the price; however, when I received the kit - there was only 1 (not two) liquor pourers.Would have given 5 stars if my order was complete! There’s no option on Amazon to contact the seller, and cost to send back isn’t worth the time and effort.****Update*** Customer support was amazing and contacted me immediately to send the missing part out. Rating upgraded to 5 since I know the replacement piece is on its way. Would definitely order again or gift to a friend!

This shaker set is high quality and elegant, it makes perfect cocktails every time! I have had mine over two weeks and cannot praise it or recommend it enough!
