This is one of the better decaf coffees I’ve tried. The Bay Bridge Blend has a smooth, well-balanced flavor that doesn’t taste watered down like many decaf options. It’s a medium roast, so you get a nice middle ground—rich enough to be satisfying, but not too strong or bitter. The beans are 100% Arabica and sourced from multiple regions, which gives it a more complex and rounded flavor profile. One of the biggest advantages is that it uses the Swiss Water Process, so it’s decaffeinated without chemicals, which is a big plus if you care about cleaner processing. As whole beans, it stays fresh longer and gives you flexibility to grind it however you like. It works well for drip, French press, or espresso depending on your grind size. Taste-wise, it’s smooth and easy to drink daily—no harsh aftertaste, and it still has that “real coffee” feel even without caffeine. It’s a great option if you want to cut back on caffeine but not sacrifice flavor. I am fussy about the taste of my decaf coffee. I feel like I've tried them all. This one though, this one is exceptional. It doesn't give me that metal taste in my mouth like other coffees do and the taste is delicious. The quality and price are spot on. You get what you pay for when it comes to coffee quality and San Francisco Bay Decaf is worth every penny.

Best decaf coffee on the planet no bitter taste good till the last sip. The Swiss water process is a bonus makes the coffee taste great. I highly recommend definitely best coffee. The only downside is the price but coffee is expensive at the moment. Cheers and enjoy your coffee.

This is a great decaf. All decaf tastes like dirty bitter water to me, but this one is the exception. I use it in my espresso machine and it creams beautifully.

I bought this together with two other brands to try the decaf beans with the healthy processing methods: the Swiss Water process versus the carbon dioxide process. This bean has a good aroma and flavor, and is definitely great for the money, and the Swiss Water process did a good job on decaf and preserved the taste. The plastic bag made it less appealing, but the quality is irrelevant. If I could, I would give this a 4.5 star, because the other bean from Lavaza, which used the Carbon dioxide (CO2) decaffeination method, provided a slightly richer taste. Also, when comparing the two, we feel this bean, though decaf, gave a little settled caffeine kick, while the other did not. But we have to acknowledge that the other one has a higher price and lower quantity. Flavor-wise, this medium roast is very good, with low acidity and rich aroma and taste. Worth the price, and I would recommend this if you are not very picky in taste and tiny caffeine level.

It ia nearly impossible to find whole beans in decaf. The bonus is that the coffee is not only good but very inexpensive. I make French press coffee every day so this works for me. Highly recommend
