Good quality. Nice little idlis can be made

One would think that there is nothing complicated about an idli stand, but this one is an extremely bad design. The three plates are standard, with adequate depth for mini idlis. The top two plates have the separating stands attached to the bottom. The lowest plate is in two parts. One is the plate with the idli moulds, the other is a small stand to go underneath it, having a hole aligning with the one on the plate. To assemble the stand, one has to thread the central spine through the top two plates, the third plate, the stand separately and then screw a small nut from underneath - inside the cup shaped stand. I cannot describe how difficult it is to balance three plates stacked, keep the bottom cup shaped stand in place and manage to keep the nut in place to screw the central spine. I tried to reverse the spine so I could screw the nut from the top, but the bottom plate has a smaller central hole than the others, so it's not possible. And the kicker is - the plates are too big to be used in a standard pressure cooker. I have to figure out a different arrangement for the steaming. It is obvious that the person who has designed it, has never had to use it.

Product is good blunt can be more steady

My love just loved it my baby at age 2.5 I have ordered by soldering she is liking it in a restaurant. It’s so easy too not so big deal I almost give it every day before going to school actually she don’t eat anything while going to school now atleast she is eating something as I m trying to give her what she likes
