Loved this Tropical Heat. My ideal hot sauce - fruity with a nice kick that didn’t blow my head off. Nothing like this on the market

I am a big fan of hot sauces so I was looking forward to trying these however I was quite disappointed. First of all one of the bottles had leaked everywhere in the packaging due to the lid not being fully sealed. I have seen this mentioned in other reviews so it may be an issue with the design of the lids. Secondly, there isn't much flavour to the sauce. Don't get me wrong, it is spicy and tastes like Mango, however, that's about it. I was expecting more depth to the flavour however there was none.

To set the scene, I like a mild chilli level and most spices, but there is no Jamaican food near where I live apart from in the supermarkets.The bottles came well protected which shows good planning for the vagaries of the transport process. The bottles look great I would happily put them on the table when I have guests. A reasonable amount of info on the label, a use by date of Dec 2024 and use 3 months after opening. I smiled that the label is just too big for the circumference of the bottle, I thought that was a nice home made made look even if someone got in trouble for it. It has a safety seal over the lid which is good to see.I gave it a shake before opening it. Now! Open it slowly if you do that as it is less viscous than I though, not thick like ketchup and I did spill a small amount that was up at the top in the lid.Easy to pour and serve the amount that you like with a good colour an a nice smell.My first small taste was great, a lovely fruit taste, then the heat, I would estimate that this is hotter than medium, I did like it but do not go mad with it when you start. It is not crazy hot but it has a kick.Overall I liked it and will be looking out for the brand.My reviews follow this star rating:1 Star; Very unsatisfactory product. The media could not be loaded.  Comes in a cardboard box and wrapped in bubble wrap.Oh dear i was really looking forward to trying these but one of the bottles had leaked and there was no tamper proof seals on the lids as is shown in the product images which i was under the impression is standard for all food stuffs in the UK.The smell of the leaked bottle did not smell very nice either and had an acrid smell to it and both bottles have gone straight in the bin !As can be seen in the video when i opened the leaked bottle a large amount of sauce leaked out like a bottle of shaken fizzy drink which is not normal.This should be a zero star rating for supplying unsafe products but i have to give a star.

I love mango and chilli sauces and always use them throughout the summer, mainly with BBQs.I've tried a few in the past, so was excited to see how this compares.The bottles comes with Dec 24 date which is great and then you have 3 months to use once open. The 3 months use time is great as a lot of my other sauces must be used in 1 month.I first shook the bottle and then waited for it to settle a bit before use, but it was still a bit lively so be careful when opening for the first time.The taste is lovely, a perfect combination of hot and fruity. So far I've had it on pork ribs, chicken wings, prawns and even added some with mayo to make and a hot and fruity mayo dip. Overall a lovely sauce and I can see myself getting more when these run out.

A hot sauce with the typical sourness you would expect, but there is also a sweetness coming from the mango. It sounds a strange combination, but it does actually work quite nicely.Spice levels are medium to hot for me, and I would say I have a moderate tolerance to heat. Even if you want hot food, I would suggest getting this for the flavour if nothing else.It works well with chicken, pizza, and probably lots of other stuff.BE CAREFUL WHEN OPENING.For the first few times opening, this frothed up fairly violently, rather like a bottle of soda that has been shaken. It really should have a warning on the bottle.

This is my second time testing sauces from this store, and again, despite the perfect packaging, one of the bottles was leaking. Upon opening the seal, the sauce started fizzing and bubbling like champagne! I'm not sure why, but it was totally fizzy, and I had to dispose of most of it. The second bottle had a similar reaction, though less intense, so I managed to salvage it in a small dip plate before pouring it out.The taste is quite spicy, with not much of the mango flavour I would have preferred. Judging by the colour, I expected some mango sweetness as well. The bottle and the icon are lovely, and the presentation is outstanding, so this inconvenience might have occurred during transport. The taste is nice enough but not unforgettable.

Very pleasant spice for meat and vegetables. Perfect for air fried meat such as chicken, some fish or vegetables. I used it with a sliced, mixed group of veg in the fryer and had a really nice filling for a wrap. Seperately I tried the sauces on beef mince, which gave a great topping for rice or in a potato. Lots of options and well worth the money.
