Truly the Best Insoles for Foot Pain
I have been wearing Superfeet Green insoles now for nearly a decade. I have tried other brands, and even other models of Superfeet insoles (blue, berry, copper, and orange), but none of them have worked as well. At least in my experience, the build and quality of these insoles have remained the same every time I have replaced them.I tried these for the first time about 10 years ago when I developed a serious case of plantar fasciitis. It was bad. My job at the time required a lot of walking and my feet just couldn't handle it. Someone recommended that I try Superfeet, and at first I had no idea which of the insoles they make would be best for me. I have very low arches that are borderline flat, so naturally I first tried insoles for my actual foot type. They were ok but didn't really make a difference with my pain. So I decided to try the Green even though it was advertised for high arches. THAT is when I discovered my soul mate was a shoe insole.Everyone is different but let me tell you what to more or less expect if you've never used these before. These are not your typical cushiony, pillowy insoles that make you feel like you're walking on air. These are solid, and the foam is very dense and firm. I can see why this may put some people off; after all, at first feel they seem like they'll only make foot pain WORSE, not better. And truth be told, they DO hurt if you're not used to them. Seems counterintuitive, right? It's important to be aware that this initial discomfort is NORMAL and very common amongst first time users. In the beginning you may feel frustrated for having spent this much on insoles that seem to make the pain worse. But trust me, you NEED to give them time to break in. Your feet are likely not accustomed to this level of support, and yet that's exactly what those feet need. Especially if you have flat feet or low arches. These insoles force your feet into a more arched position which at first feels completely unnatural. But flat and low arches can bring on issues like knee and hip pain from taking on more weight that is more evenly distributed by those with normal arches. So yes, they are uncomfortable at first. You need to ease into them at your own pace. Wear them for an hour a day, then two hours, and so forth, and eventually the pain will not only go away, but you'll be amazed at what a huge difference they make. I use them in my everyday walking shoes as well as my running and trail shoes. No matter what the activity is, these insoles allow me to do it pain free. There are a few things to be aware of though that can't really be changed. Because they are so firm and don't really have any "give" when weight is applied, it COULD potentially change the way your shoe fits. These fit nicely into my medium width shoes as well as my wide fit shoes, but the fit is snug. It also will raise your heel somewhat. I've never found them to raise it so high that the shoe is unwearable though, and my feet still feel secure in the shoe. In fact, this slight heel raise has actually helped me wear shoes I couldn't before because of heel rubbing. These lift my heels just enough so that I no longer have that issue. The one thing I don't like is that these insoles can potentially change the performance of the shoe. For example, I have a great pair of running shoes that have a "springy" heel which feels really great when I do speed runs. But the springy-ness is noticeably dulled when using these insoles. Superfeet make a different insole that is specifically designed for runners, but nothing has been as good as the Green for pain relief and support. And ultimately that's more important to me.Hopefully this information helps you in your insole search quest. Remember, have patience, break them in and don't give up on them the first day. Your aching feet will thank you later and you'll wonder how you survived all this time without them.

Worked for me. Addressed my plantir fasciitis in about 2 months. Will always use in all my shoes.
Some background. I am a 185lb 60yo male. I walk 6-7 miles every day before 7am, generally 75% on concrete and 25% on hard-packed dirt, gravel. My soles wear evenly, and I change walking shoes (Merrell) every 4 months. I have done this for 20 years and until January this year was walking 10 miles every morning, rain, shine, heat, cold, dark.Early this year I self-diagnosed as having plantir fasciitis. I stopped walking for 3 months, tried Dr Scholls insoles, compression socks, boot. Not much rapid improvement. Pretty uncomfortable walking, particularly the first 3-5 minutes. I even bought a pair of Kuru shoes to try. No lasting improvement beyond feeling more comfortable at first. Then I was recommended Superfeet insoles by a friend of my wife. Tried a pair for 3 weeks at home, all the hours I was awake, and noticed progressive improvement. Very pleased, even as a chronic skeptic.I have now resumed my regular morning walking, but cautiously limit myself to around 12.5k - 15k steps. I arrive home free of foot pain, and have now bought a pair of Superfeet for all my shoes rather than swapping the one pair in/out. Even after just 4 months resumed walking I cannot imagine not using Superfeet, even as a preventative. For my feet, my use, these do the trick.I used the Superfeet 'pencil test' and found I needed their High Arch insoles, not a surprise but the verification was useful. Every pair I have bought (7 now) are exactly the same. Good consistency. I buy Men's 9.5-11 size and they perfectly fit my US 10.5M sized shoes without any need for trimming.RECOMMENDED. If you think you might benefit you probably will. Expensive, but discounts are to be found through the year.ADENDUM: One of my shoes (a Merrell walking shoe) developed a squeak. I found that a little lubrication between the 4 nubs (see picture of product) and the floor of my shoe solved all the squeak-squeak-squeak. I use a very small dab of silicone grease, which I had handy. Soap, shampoo, etc would work just as well.

Just what I needed to make my dr martens fit!
I’ve had these guys for a few weeks now and I am already a convert. They were recommended to me by my physical therapist as a better way to get proper support in ALL my shoes instead of buying new ones that limit my style significantly.I wore them in my van slip ons first, I couldn’t get the factory insole out of them so I just slid them in sitting on top, my foot doesn’t have as much room as it did before which is a slight annoyance but I’ve gotten used to it now and the light compression feels kinda nice.I feel properly supported on them, it’s insane that I’m bouncing around through my shift with these guys on when my nerve was so compressed 4 months ago I couldn’t even dress myself. It’s more comfortably to walk in them then to sit down at a certain point (oh sciatica)Where these really shine is in my Dr Marten’s Sinclair boots, I’ve had these puppies for two years, fighting them tooth and nail to break in during this whole time. my heels have scars and have been bloodied by these suckers. They are NO JOKE. I wanted to be brave last week and thought I’d try again after being depressed for a while I might never get to wear them comfortably, I slipped the insoles in on top of the Airwair insoles and when I slipped them on?? ✨magic✨ my feet actually fit in them without sliding around, this hasn’t been a sizing issue; it’s just the shoe part itself was too tall and my feet aren’t thick enough to fill in most docs.I wore them with the insoles and some kinda thick socks to my 8 hour shift. I walked about 3 miles that day in them and I only had a slight blister that was uncomfortable towards the end; but I can reason that out to they actually fit me properly so the heels are getting worn in correctly finally.I’m so much more optimistic about my sinclairs, I know Docs aren’t supposed to be like this, I first got a pair of classics 1460s back in 2012 and they were significantly easier to break in. I could wear them without socks (I def don’t recommend it though)I’m much more confident in my ability to break in this brand now.

Excellent quality but not for my two different arch heights.
I have high arches and decided to take advantage of the low price of SUPERfeet All-Purpose Support High Arch Insoles (Green) during the Black Friday sales. The problem for me was to decide which size to order since I wear women’s 8.5. I’m in between the size cut-off. So, I ordered one of each: “C” W 6.5-8 & “D” W 8.5-10. Surely, one of these pairs would suit my feet just fine.I take plenty of photos when I review a product to show how I formed my honest opinion while using the item, but they don't always upload in sequential order.I lined each size next to my usual PowerStep Pinnacle Plus Met women’s size 8-8.5. It was obvious the SUPERfeet Green “C” could easily fit inside my athletic shoes. “D” was too wide and long, and I didn’t want to cut them so I could return them.I did a quick study of the arch compared with my PowerStep that sat on top of it, and I thought the SUPERfeet looked less high but wasn’t certain. The hard plastic “stabilizer caps” underneath both orthotics are sturdy and durable to support my weight when I walk.I anxiously decided to wear one of each for comparison since I needed to walk my dog that morning. There was a noticeable difference between both orthotics as I walked the neighborhood. When we got back home, I pulled them out of my shoes and studied them more closely. I hope you can see from my side-by-side photos with my pointing fingers that the SUPERfeet has a deeper slope, and the PowerStep has a gradual upslope towards a supportive metatarsalgia pad.I then remembered I have two different arch heights that complicate things and also affect my comfort. I found my wet feet arch height drawings from 2/2023, and you can see that my left foot has a higher arch than my right. It then occurred to me that the Powersteps with the metatarsalgia pads help compensate for my different arches. In the end, I will unfortunately have to return both sizes “C” and “D” of the SUPERfeet. Don’t get me wrong. SUPERfeet are an excellent quality, in my opinion, but like with anything you wear, you need to try them on to see how they feel when you walk on them.

Unexpectedly Comfortable
These insoles are highly recommended by podiatrists for arch/alignment support and cushioning against impact, however they feel very rigid, so I was concerned that they would override the comfort and cushioning in my running shoes. My shoes are Hoka size 8m, and these insoles fit perfectly with no trimming needed. They did not reduce the cushioning of my shoes, and definitely helped correct overpronation. No more stressed out knees!Win-Win!

BUY THEM! YOU WON'T REGRET IT! LITERALLY HELPS EVERYTHING AND YOU CAN FEEL IT
BUY THEM! YOU WON'T REGRET IT FOR EVEN A MOMENT! BEST INVESTMENT IN YOUR SPINE, KNEES, ANKLES AND SOLE. My mother has spurs and spinal injury and she is 57. I had spinal/neck, nerve injury and we both are using, the moment we shoved our foot into our shoes with this sole we both immediately began walking straighter and with less pain and my mother's spurs isn't killing her leaving her in agony. I purchased these after a SIGNIFICANT amount of research and read the reviews on here with images. There were 2 AMAZING reviewers who made it very clear what you will be receiving and giving guidance based on how low/high your arch is. I purchased bothe the Blue (medium arch) and a Green (high arch) to be sure my mother wouldn't have to wait longer for relief. We both need the Green colored one for high food arches. Another woman reviewed that they are designed a bit differently than the old ones the company sold and that you may need to trip down the length from the toes side and that a bench saw working amazingly great. I have not tried that yet but I am glad she wrote her review because I allowed me to know what to expect. That reviewer along with multiple others stated that this brand is the ones that they had been using for 20 years and that an ortho doctor recommended these to them and they never went elsewhere after these. So my mother and I have already ordered 5 pairs in the past week to keep them in the shoes we use most. I am sure we will still buy a few more as gifts because my dad tried it out and he said its great which is a lot coming from him who is a simple guy.

Better than expected
These are good! AMF-they are great! Used them to replace original insoles and I could immediately feel the difference (and comfort). The ARE expensive for what they are but considering the pain relief and mobility they provide (well, I've spent worse). Make sure to get right size, REPLACE the old insoles, don't just put em in shoes. Enjoy walking again.

What a joke. (Updated 10/9/2015)
I have heard great things about these, so my expectations were high upon purchasing...and for the price it's rightfully so. I was skeptical at first considering these are literally just foam with a piece of plastic covering half of the bottom, but that judgement isn't entirely righteous nor accurate to what this product really is. As advertised, it provides support for high arches (mine are low on the edge and medium on the inner bottom, but I wanted maximum support so I went with green instead of blue) as well as had a deep heel cup to support the heels and is designed to allow the foot to spread. I can say with utter confidence it does all of that, and it does it well. It works as advertised, so there isn't much to say for the positive part other than it's definitely better than others and the stock insole. However, I knocked a star off because I was expecting more support. For $45 I should be getting something that will fix the problem and do it well. I find my feet still hurt after a while despite more than ample support. It isn't nearly as bad as other insoles, and it does help alleviate some to most of the pain, but it doesn't do it all. Most of the pain is in the heel, despite the extra support there, and some of it is spread throughout the front of the foot in varying intensities. It doesn't get to the point where I need to stop, but it shouldn't be there to begin with. Fortunately it doesn't really happen until 3-5 hours after my shift begins depending on how much I walk. I should add that it does get much better after it has broken down. It used to be where it hurt my arches as I am not used to the extra support, but now I hardly notice the foot pain. Despite this one snag, it's a good product. Although, it's not a godsend like others are suggesting. Perhaps the blues would have been better for me, but I am happy with them so who cares.I should also mention I work retail, so the higher foot pain is expected, and more frequent. A definite good choice for retail I would say.--- UPDATE ---After about 4 months of wearing these, I can honestly say they're utter garbage. At first, they were pretty good, but over time they offered less and less. I had some pretty bad insert before these, and they offered the same support this does. I am an overnight cashier and walk over 5 miles per night, so I definitely need proper foot support ad these do not do that good at all. Literally just as bad as dollar store inserts. I don't know what the problem is with these, but they're definitely undeserving of the ratings they've gotten so far from my experience. These could do wonders for others, but they were pure crap for me. I finally got fed up with them today and bought a pair of Dr. Scholl's Pro Sole (yes the very brand that's said to be bad) and they worked 1000x better than these, offering near instant pain relief, constant relief when walking and I come home with minimally sore feet (5 miles will probably do that regardless) unlike these where I would come home with feet so sore I would not only not want to walk but even after sleeping on an über comfortable latex mattress they'd still be as sore as they were when I got home except it would be dull pain instead of sharp pain. This was a disappointment. So down to the 1 star, if they even deserve that.

These insoles fit better people with medium arch rather than with high arch.
I like these insoles. I have a medium arch. However, these High Arch support insoles fit me well.I think that people will actually high arch might find these insoles insufficient for proper support.

Love these insoles
I have used them for 10+ years and they reduce knee and ankle pain on long hikes. The green ones have good arch support. I now use in all my shoes including dress shoes for work - just wish they had a cheaper multipack.
