Nice pads, could use better velcro/attachment option
Daughter plays travel ball and I've used extra padding on most of her helmets. Usually the sides of the helmet do not grip above and behind her ears and they've wobble. Her head was too big for Tee ball helmets - and those are not protective enough. Her team now uses Mizuno helmets and they do not offer extra padding kits (Worth does). Took a chance on this kit before ripping apart another helmet to make perfect fitting pads (what I did on a Rip-It helmet). I used paper to create a template for the pads I wanted to extend, placed the template on the pad and simply followed the pattern I created. Take the time to do the job right. I have high standards when it comes to safety equipment.Pros:-highly customizable pads thar are easy to cut with a sharp exacto knife-pads were larger than I thought, the round one is about 5 to 6 inches in diameter and the other six are 3 inches in length. the pads are about a quarter inch thick.-It's pretty good at wicking away sweat from the surface into the foam-seemed to be enough padding for the Mizuno and definitely more than what I used on the Rip-It-padding seemed to be the right shapes for most applications.Cons:-The padding is held in place by little dots of velcro you stick to the old pad, about 3/8 inch diameter = small. I had to use a bunch of velcro dots to provide enough surface area for the pads to feel super secure. Because I had to use so many to secure two pared down 3 inch rectangles inside a round helmet, I think there needs to be more dots and maybe some bigger circles. Some padding was square and these dots are too small to cut and fit to a square edge.- the sticky stuff on the back of the dots is OK.I ended up purchasing a roll of industrial strength velcro from Home Depot, trimmed this using the same templates from above, and I'm very extremely happy with the outcome and I would actually purchase these pads and go through this process again if necessary.

Foam padding should work for most any helmet.
The padding is low density with a fabric covering, it's quite soft and should be moderately durable. It's almost exactly what would be found OEM in a typical bicycle helmet. My application was for my 5-year-old daughter's ice hockey helmet which even at the smallest size available, sat too low on her head. After going to a couple specialty retailers, who didn't stock any sort of helmet padding, I went online. I found this kit (here). There were plenty of pre-cut pieces. I used two of rectangle bits to bolster up the existing high density padding along the top of the helmet and not only did it fit better, but it was more comfortable.I didn't even need to use the Velcro dots, I just wedged the padding in the top of the helmet and it stays put due to the design of the existing pads. In hockey, the helmet isn't often removed during play so it works great. If one was to use the Velcro, looking at the Velcro dots, they are relatively small so I can see where in some circumstances they may come loose, such as with frequent helmet removal or possibly sweating. I don't think it's a big deal and could easily be fixed with glue or more Velcro.

Worked great for my daughter's softball helmet.
My daughter has a tiny head and we could never find a softball helmet that actually fit her. She is 13 and has been wearing a ball helmet since she started playing when she was about 10. These pads worked amazing in a new helmet that she had to have for her new team. We did have to buy better velcro than what the set came with. The velcro the set came with would not hold for anything. But heavy-duty velcro works great! I would buy this again.

batting helmet pads
The ear piece of my sons helmet came off but couldnt find anything that looked like it that would get here before his game this weekend and didn't cost an arm and a leg. I was able to stack to of the small oval pieces with couple of pieces of the velcro between them and trim them up to fit the place I needed. The glue on the velcro was extra tacky and seems to be holding very well considering. They did include a note to use hot glue to hold the velcro better but for a quick fix, I didn't need to yet. suited our purpose and son says the helmet is comfortable with them.

Used for UA helmet
My daughter has an Under Armour Helmet and we were unable to locate a fit kit for UA so we went with this universal one. It's not the thickest padding but we were able to layer pieces to make it work. I also went to Lowes & bought industrial strength velcro because unfortunately the velcro that comes with the kit does not work at all. Even though I had to purchase additional supplies it was better than purchasing a new helmet.

Worked well
Boombah helmet was too big, these worked pretty well taking up the space and then should come out easy when they are no longer needed.

Lots of padding to work with
These worked well for my daughter Rip-It helmet, but like others have said, the padding will start to fall out as the adhesive doesn’t stick for long. Will probably have to super glue some of the pieces soon. Overall it worked well and made her helmet fit so I’m happy with the purchase.

Just what we needed
My 5 year old son is in tee ball for the first time this year. We got one of the smallest helmets we could find, but it was just a little too wide and didn't fit snuggly. I couldn't find a kit that was specific for the helmet we had, so I got this universal one. I took 2 of the medium sized pieces and cut out a hole for the sides like on the helmet. I placed a few of the velcro circles to attach them to the original padding, and now the helmet fits perfectly. I'm saving the other pieces for next year in case we need them to make another helmet fit.
