I'm a runner, excellent for tendon health

Before taking any supplements, first I checked out the manufacturer. The Carlyle Nutritionals website has additional information about quality screening and testing, licensing and certifications. Once I was happy with the manufacturer, the next step was to check whether any of the ingredients interact with any medications which I am already taking - even when the ingredients are commonly found in food so seem as though they couldn’t possibly cause any problems. I checked WebMD for the ingredients in these capsules, and it turned out that the piperine in the black pepper extract could interact with one of my medications - knowing this meant that I opted to start taking the capsules at a dose of 1 a day, increasing up to the reccommended 4 a day over the course of a month so I could gauge whether the capsules were causing any issues (fortunately the medication interaction is one I would be able to notice if it was occurring). It was also worth checking up on the ingredients for any additional medical guidance - for example, I had no idea that you shouldn’t take turmeric supplements for 2 weeks before having surgery because of its potential effect on blood clotting!Armed with the relevant information, I felt confident to give these capsules a try.The capsules aren’t too large, and the capsule itself has no taste, although some of the contents of the capsules is present on the outer surface and this has a slight flavour, it’s not too bad though.Fortunately I don’t have any issues taking capsules, as the goal is to take 4 of these a day - it’s a lot, but still preferable to taking collagen powder mixed in with food - at least this way you barely taste anything!I was lucky that the capsules seem not to have had any kind of interaction with my prescription medication, and have no worked up to 3 capsules a day. I’m not sure whether there has been any impact on my hair/skin/nails at this stage because it has only been a few weeks and because I have been taking a lower dose, but if you are inclined to take a collagen supplement, I personally find these capsules more manageable on a daily basis than the loose powder versions.I’m happy to continue taking these supplements and hopefully any gradual benefits will become more pronounced over time.

I did reviews on this for how many tablets were needed per day. The online description said recommended 2 per day so i thought , good these will last me 90 days. But in the container it says 4 per day so will only last 29 days. I will be going back to my old supplier

Seems OK, not really been taking for long enough. Nails have improved so far.
