DO NOT BUY! Seller and manufacturer will not refund you for spoiled/moldy food items.
Update Set 21, 2026: Vitamin Well LLC reached out and gave me a full refund, so I changed the review back to 5 star as these Salty Peanut bars are excellent and I am keeping my subscription to continue to receive them. I get 4 boxes/month from the amazon subscription. It always arrived fine an with ice packs during the hot weather. But my last batch arrived with several of the bar with green mold in them. Amazon makes you contact the seller before return/refund because it is an edible item. I contacted the seller here on amazon and the manufacturer directly via their website. After a week neither has contacted me so I'm out at least one box of this product and no refund. I sometimes carry one or two with me if I'm in a hurry and can't stop to eat and it's usually at night while I'm driving. It's dark in the car, you open one up and don't even look at it before you eat it. Luckily for me this was not one of those times so I was able to see the mold before eating the bad protein bar. I will update the review once I get this resolved, but for now, my recommendation is for you to avoid this product because if there is something wrong with your order it's likely you will not get a refund either.

Better than 97% of other protein bars...
I've tried and eaten a couple of dozen different protein bars. This one is actually pretty good. It's sort of similar to a Snickers. If a Snickers is 9.5 on a 10 scale, this peanutty, nougatty bar is a 7.5. Frankly it's better than nearly any other I have eaten.

These bars are delicious. They do not have the protein taste to them. They taste more like a snickers bar. They are filling and satisfying. They are a bit pricey but better to buy on amazon than at gas stations. As a diabetic, I worry about sugar levels or what foods will cause my sugar level to rise. These bars do not cause any issues with my sugar level. They are very good chilled in the fridge for a few hours as well. They will melt easily in a warm car. Shipping is fantastic and puts a cool pack in a little cooler bag to keep them from melting.
