Water irrigation system.
Its a real neat idea if it worked. I bought 4 and they all do not last the watering time they advertise and as far as changing the different watering clips. Well they just don't do what they said they would do. Had one last one day and another last 4 days. Thats tops. I was expecting 10 days so as to be able to water while on vacation. Did not work.

Well, I wanted to be lazy and water my potted citrus trees less often. So I bought some of these. No matter which nozzle I use it has two modes, dump all the water overnight and overflow the pot, or drip so slow it hardly works. It is also kind of wobbly in the soft soil in the pot. Gave it to a friend of mine who uses it as a backup for some bushes in his garden. It kind of works for him.

Works well in larger planters
I was a little hesitant to try this after reading some reviews, but I ordered one to try it for myself. I'm using this outside to water a planter and although I have just started using it, it is doing it's job. It has no leaks and is slowly releasing the water. I have lots of room in the outdoor planter, so the size of the unit is not a problem, and the stability is fine, once again because the planter has room to place it properly. But there is no way I could use this in my small and small-medium sized planters. It is just too big. But if the plant/planter is large enough, it does the job. So far so good. If anything changes, I will adjust the review.

great concept
It works as long as the tip doesn't get clogged, which happens often and very easily, especially with fine soil. A way to counter this is to use a piece of plastic wrap on the tip when you push it into the soil then remove the plastic by lifting off for a half a inch. But a better way is to re design so the tip is covered with hard piece of plastic that you just push down or pull a lever, and the cover retracts in or out , in would be easier!!!

It does the work. But be very careful. The setup can be tricky. It happened to me once while I set up the dripping but it actually didn't function. My plants were dead. I realized that i just need to twist the parts a little bit then it would function. Make sure you do some testing before leaving.

Works on and off--mostly off
I have owned this for almost two years. Used it for a large yucca, with the red tip as advised. A few times, the reservoir emptied within a week or so, but most of the time the water just sat for weeks--half to two thirds of the reservoir eventually emptied, probably through evaporation since the top isn't sealed. Some have theorized the tip gets clogged with dirt, but that's not a plausible explanation since 1) the dirt will simply absorb the water; 2) screwing on the grey cone will prevent the tip from contacting the dirt anyway. I end up watering the plant the old fashioned way (with a watering can) every couple of weeks anyway so I'm throwing this contraption out. And yes, it's ungainly and unstable but I would gladly put up with that if it actually worked.

a mostly happy customer
This does what I want it to do; distribute water to a plant (a schefflera that is about 8 ft high) over many days. I like the four dispersal rates. The only issue that I've had was one of balance of the water reservoir when it is full - I solved it by adding a support cord about half way up the reservoir that goes around the stem of the plant.
