Used for a costume. Great! Works!
Hopefully, if you’ve gone to medical school and are practicing medicine, you’re not shopping for medical supplies on Amazon. However, this does work. I wrote it with a Halloween costume and had little kids putting it on and yelling in their own ears all evening. That alone was worth it.Very light. Probably not terribly sturdy.

Don't waste your money.
It fell apart the very first time I used it. I kept putting it back together, but after a week I just tossed it.

It is not much better than the disposable ones we have at the hospital
It is not much better than the disposable ones we have at the hospital, but its not bad. I use it and it works for what I need it for.

perfect for what i needed
I am not a medical professional. I needed this to check my cats heart rate. it does the job perfectly. I don't have anything to compare it to. so I say its perfect....but I suppose it could really be like a toy. not sure. BUT I would recommend to anyone who needs to listen to their animals heartbeats...or as a toy! I like the green color. It came with changeable earpieces if needed.
