I absolutely love my necklace! This is the 2nd time I have purchased from the Pearl Source and I have been impressed by them both times! I highly recommend doing business with them. I am a member of the sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha and our jewelry is a string of pearls. I had a conference to attend for my sorority and I wanted to have a nice pearl necklace to wear for it. My dad offered to buy a pearl necklace for me but I didn't want him to spend too much but at the same time I wanted a necklace that looked nice and not like costume jewelry. Since I had purchased a necklace (a single pearl necklace on prime day) from the pearl source before, I went straight to them and looked them up again when looking for a strand of pearls. My dad agreed that this necklace was very reasonably priced and ordered them. The necklace came exactly when expected in 2 days with prime. The necklace came in a nice box and all the pearls look beautiful. My dad was very shocked to see at how nice the necklace looked and that the pearls are real for the price! I ordered the necklace in 18 inches with a 7-8mm size and the necklace has a nice weight to it too but not overly heavy or anything. The clasp on the necklace is also very pretty and sturdy looking to insure that the necklace won't come undone while wearing. Horrible customer service! When I first got these pearls, I was so in love with them. However, the clasp doesn't hold. Whenever I wear them, I have to continually check them to be sure they are clasped. I have no idea why they will not stay closed. In addition, my neck broke out in an ugly rash where the clasp was. I contacted the seller and they said they would send me an email about returning them for a different clasp that perhaps will not have nickel in it. No email has been forthcoming. I think two phone calls should be sufficient warning - so here is the ugly truth about the pearls. I have a lot of friends that are scientists, and I am thinking of having them test the clasp to find out just how much nickel is in it. The seller told me it is sterling silver and it may well be sterling silver. It just isn't very flattering to have your neck all broken out in an ugly red rash - with pearls sitting over it. Therefore, I cannot recommend these pearls as much as I'd like to. I would NOT have purchased them if I'd known the clasps are defective and have so much cheap metal in them they cause my neck to break out in a horrible rash.

They have a good luster (nearly AAA quality since I didn't notice much chalkiness) and most pearls appear to be nearly free from surface defects (definitely AAA quality). They're not nearly as white as the picture indicates, regardless of lighting, and most of them are not perfectly round (only AA quality), but match each other in size very nicely. Based on my research, I would think these are overall high AA quality. I'm no expert though, and they look very nice, so I wouldn't argue against the seller rating these AAA. The 8-9mm size looks about perfect to me; not quite "hey, look at me" pearls, but not teenager pearls either. The 20" length lays in a more appropriate location than the 18" length on a larger woman.

Purchased the 17" necklace for my wife, the packaging box was reasonable for the price. The pearls were all near several non round pearls, however next to certified AAA freshwater earrings, the difference was not huge, however we ultimately returned the necklace for a longer length, purchased from the same seller. however 90 % of the pearls were mishaped, and upon contacting the seller, the customer service rep clearly had told many people " freshwater pearls are graded on a different scale " and was in no mood to repeat it again.Returned both the 17" and 20" and purchased a 20" from Pearl Paradise, customer service, and products were far superior.http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=w_bl_sl_s_je_web_7141123011?ie=UTF8&node=7141123011&field-brandtextbin=Pearl+Paradise

I have worked years in the jewelry business and know what to look for in pearls. Usually I do not buy pearls online, but after searching for a matinee length in the pearl size my daughter desired, I took a chance! I loved them and she loved them! The packaging was beautiful. The pearls had great luster and color! The size was evenly matched throughout the strand. Would definitely purchase from this company again when in need. The price was more reasonable than any jewelry or department store!

These pearls have excellent weight and beautiful luster. The are very uniform in size and color. They are more white than ivory.My husband bought me an 18” strand of 6mm ivory pearls with a solid gold clasp years ago. I wanted a 16” strand of 7-8mm as well for a more choker-like effect and I absolutely LOVE these. The sterling silver clasp is vintage looking and mine holds very well. You cannot beat the price for this type of quality. I’ve purchased strands of pearls from this company for both of my daughters for special gifts. They love them and I had to splurge on myself.They come beautifully packaged in a sturdy box for storing, which I highly recommend. I cannot wait to wear my new pearls to my son’s wedding.

This is my first pearl necklace to ever own and it is absolutely stunning! My husband picked this out for me and I love it!! The pearls are great quality and the packaging is very nice as well. It has great weight to it and the little clasp is very elegant. I am so excited and I love wearing my new necklace, I always get compliments on it!

There was no any certificate of authenticy included in the jewelry box stated that pearls are really AAA quality and no tag attached to the necklace either. On the box label there is only one A with dots, so there is no way knowing what quality of the pearls seller were selling. After I talked to the seller she sent me certificate that stated that the pearls are 6.5-7.0 mm but I bought advertised 7.0-8.0 mm and the price for 6.5-7.0 supposed to be less than for 7.0-8.0mm.

With some trepidation, I bought my wife beautiful pearls online. It was her Christmas present! Such an expensivepurchase online, with out see theying the item, can be very risky and the product not as you viewed or anticipated. My wife loved the pearls and look beautiful when she wears.
