Nice little personal blender. Bought it for basic use making post-workout protein shakes. It's sturdy, simple and not all that noisy. I expected a crude, poorly-made loud blender for the price, but was more than pleasantly surprised at the quality of it. Parts and extras are available, but I just bought the basics. One nice thing is that it can pulverize a small or reasonable amount of ice quite thoroughly and easily. I've had bigger, more expensive Farberware units that couldn't handle an ice cube! One thing to be careful of is that the blades are extremely sharp and washing out the grinder cap should be done with attention and caution. Ask me how I know. Overall, a great unit for the price- inexpensive, capable, and easy to clean and stow away.

I really like this little blender. Works great for protein drinks without taking out my big huge Vitamix. Really does the job. I would highly recommend this.

I acted in haste because I was disappointed that I didn't get the silver bullet as ordered. Silver was important because it matched my refrigerator. Five years ago, I received a silver bullet as a gift. I simply fell in love with it. Turned 2 other people on to it who had the same sentiment. Every household should have one on the counter. It's the bomb of blenders.

Don’t buy this! We had a magic bullet that served us well for 15 years and we just got this unit to replace our old one. My wife went to make a smoothie and the motor seemed really weak compared to our old one. Before the smoothie was blended the motor died and made a terrible smell of burning plastic. The unit was completely powerless after that. We tried calling the support number on the packaging and the phone number did not work. Sending back ASAP!

I bought this a month ago after having a Ninja for several years. The MB is somewhat smaller but the ingredients in my morning smoothie just fit in the 16 oz cup. This machine is lighter and easier to use than the Ninja. It also doesn't leak as easily. It is quieter. The blending power is comparable--takes perhaps 30 seconds to blend lentils, banana, frozen spinach and soy milk together. My one complaint is that the cup (which I drink out of) is easier to tip over than the Ninja. I've tipped it over a couple times but am being more careful now that I know it's tippable.

Got this for the purposes of replacing a store-bought 250W blender that I use for blending pet food from freeze dried pellets to a rehydrated mix. Previous blender sounded like it was grinding, and was SO loud. This blender is way quieter (like, I will feel confident that it will be quiet enough not to bother others *downstairs* using it at 6 AM with the door closed, unlike the other one). It came with all advertised pieces and seems to have good solid construction. It is simple to use and safe to operate. The blade makes quick work of blending their food and blends it thoroughly. Should have bought this one to begin with, and appreciate that it finally went on a solid sale.
