Used to terminate speaker cable in a wall. Just the job.

Worth knowing - each terminal pair clips in as a separate block, so the plate can be installed, then each pair connected in turn and clipped back in from the front. You might need longer screws for fixing the faceplate, if you have a deep wall box. The terminals have big holes, which is great if you are using heavy duty wiring. But the design doesn't give the best clamping arrangement - you need to double check that the screw is tight. Still, it does the job and looks neat.

I am using this to connect two speakers. The two speaker connections are secured to the back of the unit and I then use cables with banana plugs on them to connect into the front of the unit. The sound comes out of the speakers after I connect the plugs, what more can you ask for.
