I picked up Adam's Iron Remover as part of my decontamination process, and it has become a regular step whenever I'm doing a deeper detail. I normally use it after washing the car and spray it directly onto the paint, focusing on areas where brake dust and other fallout tend to build up. You can actually see the product reacting with the contamination as it starts turning purple, which is pretty satisfying and makes it easy to tell that it's doing something. What I like most is how much easier it makes the following steps. After letting it dwell for the recommended amount of time, I rinse the car thoroughly and the paint feels noticeably cleaner. It helps remove the embedded contamination that a normal wash mitt simply doesn't take care of. I've found it especially useful before claying and polishing. Instead of relying entirely on a clay mitt to remove everything, I can knock out a lot of the iron contamination first and make the rest of the decontamination process much easier. It's also nice for the wheels since that's where brake dust can really accumulate. The one thing I'd recommend is using it outdoors with plenty of ventilation and following the instructions for dwell time. It has that strong chemical smell you would expect from an iron remover, so this isn't something I'd want to spray around in an enclosed garage. I also make sure not to let it dry on the surface. Product works unreal!!! You can see it eat away the brake dust!! If it is truly very heavy deposits on rims spray a little more and hit it with a brush and it does remove the in-bedded brake deposits on rims! Very happy with this product will be ordering a gallon on it.

I really liked this product. You spray it on, wait a couple of minutes, and rinse it off with water. It washed away all the yellowness very well. It works quickly, and the delivery was exactly as promised. I recommend it.

Sometimes I'm not sure if someone pulled a fast one and filled the bottle up with orange soda because thats what it smells like. It has that typical note of iron remover in there somewhere but it's minimal compared to others. Takes a little bit to see that its working compared to the gnarly smelling one I was using before but it gets the job done. I would have to do a half car comparison vs another iron decon, but I seen a lot of pink purple when I rinsed it off so it's working.

It does what all iron removes do melt embedded particles before or after claying. Spray on, let it sit, and bleed purple, then wash off with rinse or rinse with contact wash to remove all the staining. From my usage, all iron removers do the same job. The only difference is how bad the smell is when using the product. This one is diluted with an orange scent which is not strong enough to mask all of the nasty smell from iron removers, but it is way better than ones without any scent such as Carpro iron remover which made me want to hurl when I first used it. I would give this 5 stars if this was cheaper to buy in bulk such as their 5-gallon when it was on sale and with amazon prime so no shipping cost as the buyer. If their mega foam had prime shipping then it would be a good deal. I couldn't find any other brands that sell iron remover for less. It works well on all exterior surfaces of the car including wheels, brakes, and tires. It might cause some rusting on the metal brake rotors but those will come off when braking so no worries. Also, don't use it on damaged surfaces because iron remover is an acid. 3 Stars because the price is still steep for 1-gallon and 5-gallon (buy them in gallon or 5-gallon size when on sale, then use ur own spray bottle instead of their overprice small bottle versions). Another star was lost because of the smell which is not as horrific as Carpro iron x. Iron remover should only really be used when prepping your vehicle for ceramic coating or some other intensive application. Iron remover shouldn't be used in every car wash and only use when preparing a coating over the vehicle. So a gallon or 5 gallons will last you years if you DIY and not a business.

Exactly what my van needed. Rust under rear wiper on a white van. Thought it was going to be tough to remove if even possible. This worked amazingly! Very easy to use!

The product worked just as described and removed all my rust stains on the car and on my Render brick fence (from lawn weed and feed). One bottle just covers car but be very careful near rubber and plastic trims this destroyed my spoiler rubber trim. It does take a few goes on old or very bad stains but with patience you will get them all out. My second bottle came broken which was a bit of a bummer but Amazon fixing that up, great service.

Its good product but, Dry very fast which damages the pain. Barely covers one car I didn't even use it on the wheels . If you can avoid this two i think it will be great for you
