NOT soft. Questionable if it's even comfortable. However, ONLY pillow out of 6 that didn't leave me with neck pain in the morning! It's a keeper for me!

In my opinion the pillow is a little firm, but I love it. I had a great night sleep the first night I used it. It’s extremely thick, great quality and worth every penny. Definitely recommend if you like firm pillows.

Not a bad price for two pillows. No smell. They are very firm. I wish they were a tad softer but after having neck surgery I needed to keep my head level and these pillows are good for that kind of support. Size is nice. Just the right amount of thickness.

I learned a valuable lesson - go to the store and purchase a pillow, do not make the easy purchase on line. I was so excited - cooling & memory foam. Total let down! Pillow is too thick and felt like a rock. My neck hurt worse using this pillow. I even got out a razor blade & cut the pillow in half making it 2.5" thick, and was still unsatisfied. Will use the remnants of my modification as cushion on my exercise bike seat.
