Because it is made with copper material even at room temperature the cold feel is noticeable due to the metal being a good conductor of heat. No that there are any solid metal plates in this sleeve. The whole thing is very soft, plush, and just comfortable to have on even.I got the large/xl size and it fits my arms and knees comfortably without falling off or being overly tight. No tears in the material and held up to my first couple uses fine. Extremely easy to take on and off. Best to check your size before picking which one you want. You can flip it inside out or back easily if you need to but it is most comfortable the normal way.It comes inside a small thermal bag with a zip lock sealing top that you store it inside when not in use. You can throw the bag in the freezer for a couple hours when you want to make it really cold then take it out for use. You can also take it out and put it in the microwave to heat for 30 seconds, or additional 10 second intervals up to 60 seconds safely. It gets warm but is not intended to be very hot as they say.Very satisfied with this one and I am considering getting another one for my grandmother. The material especially is wonderful and comfortable.

Rather than having to worry about ice packs moving and not providing the right coverage, this compression wrap allows you to not have mess with it after it is on. The wrap is cool naturally and gets to the perfect temperature when you freeze it. It is also able to be heated at 30 second increments.I was able to use the same size on my knees and elbow, although it was a bit loose on my arm compared to my leg. Highly recommend!

I ordered this copper compression sleeve in a size 2XL, as my arms are a bit on the thick side. Though I was at the top edge of the XL size and I know having compression with ice/heat is beneficial, I'm glad I opted for the 2XL because I still get compression around my arm, and I am also able to use this on my knee.This compression sleeve exceeds expectations!! It has some stretch to it, aiding in both compression (without impeding circulation) and versatility. It stays cold for a VERY long time, allowing me to use it on one elbow, then the other... and I could probably use it in my knees too before needing to put it in the freezer to chill it. It is soft and squishy, yet gives a very supportive feel.An issue I've had with other compression sleeves is the sleeve being too tight on the upper part of my arm or leg, as on my body, these areas are significantly thicker than the lower part, but I do NOT have that issue with this sleeve. I DO get the benefits of compression from the top to the bottom of this sleeve, yet do not feel any excessive squeezing that would cause discomfort. This compression sleeve is fantastic!!! Excellent cryo-therapy! 5+☆!!!

I have tennis elbow on both arms and lately, it has been giving me issues. I wanted something better than what I was using and I found this product.I did find their estimate of cold time for roughly 20 minutes to be accurate. I was able to use it for 10 minutes on 1 arm and another 10 minutes or so on the other.For the sizing, I did find if you are on the lower end that if you want more compression I recommend ordering a size down. The size I ordered works fine for cooling and heating, but because it a just a tad larger I do not get all the benefits of the compression as much, but the benefits I get for the almost 360 cooling and heating is worth it. Much better than trying to strap an ice pack or other cooling pack products. Overall I like this product and was exactly what I was looking for to help with my tennis elbow. Now I just wish I had another one.

This gel sleeve freezes well and easily slips onto an arm or leg to provide relief for aching and strained muscles. There’s a little give in it because it accommodates both myself and my husband. We are happy to have the circular compression versus the flat gel packets we’d been using. I have only tried the cold therapy of this sleeve as I’m reluctant to put something labeled copper in the microwave although the manufacturer clearly says you can for soothing heat.

This Copper Freeze Multi Sleeve Wrap is well made and very comfortable to wear. The materials used are very comfortable to touch with my skin. It is very cool even with room temperature. It is comfy and stretchy.I have a couple of similar products with gel pad. This one seems better and well made with a little bit more gel inside (a little bit more gel and more smoother). I mostly used the code therapy by putting it in the refrigerator for a short period of time or else it is just too cold to wear. I really like the zip bag coming with the pad, very convenient to put in the refrigerator without worrying about contamination. It is a must have household item or a great gift for anyone who needs pain relief from sore muscles and joints.

I ordered this sleeve in size S/M for my daughter--sometimes she needs a brace for her knee and the ability to cool and heat this sleeve gives much more comfort than just a regular brace. It does feel cool right out of the package. The level of the compression is very good--not so tight as to feel squeezed but more a gentle support all the way around. I can use this on my elbow but it is too small for my leg though perfect for my daughter's knee. I would recommend measuring and following the size chart. The material is soft and flexible which allows for regular, unrestricted movement. It really is comfortable to wear.

This compression sleeve fits nicely and is comfortable. When I first put it on, my first impression was how cooling it felt even without being in the freezer. It does have some weight to it, so it isn't super light. I find it nice and cushioning, and it gives me some extra support on my knee when leaning on it. I have not had any problems with it being too tight or having it slip down my leg from being too loose or heavy. It seems to be just the right size and do what it's supposed to do.
