This is objectively the best protein cereal. You should be looking for the right balance of macros, taste, and price. It's unbelievable how much better the macros are than MORE EXPENSIVE competitors. Companies like Three Wishes and Magic Spoon are a joke for charging so much while offering a fraction as much protein. This stuff with Fairlife milk is an EXCELLENT breakfast or snack when you don't feel like cooking. I can't say enough good things about it. If you wanted to be picky, the texture is a little stale, but that really doesn't matter.

The reviews are really shocking to me. This is a protein cereal, not your favorite sugar filled cereal from childhood. If you have ever had protein shakes, cereals, or other protein enhanced food items, you'll find this flavor profile familiar and actually much less "chalky" or "cardboard-y" than most. Compared to other protein cereals, this is my favorite!! The price cannot be beat either. Perfect on its own or more satiating with some fruit tossed in. The texture and flavor are the best I have found in a protein cereal. For example, I prefer this to Catalina crunch. The nutrition level knocks regular cereal out of the park and the price feels almost too good to be true! Do not expect this to taste like cocoa puffs or pebbles, or whatever else people are unrealistically expecting this to taste like. This is a great tasting protein cereal for health conscious people or folks focusing on weight loss, and makes a fast, healthy breakfast or snack.

I’m going to be fair and rate this four stars. But I believe taste is very important, you can taste the protein powder ingredients in this. The chocolate almond does not bury or mask this taste. But other than that yes the protein content is pretty good, I wouldn’t really say the value is good for the money, but this is a namebrand product. There is definitely a lot of crunchiness that is for sure and a good amount of fiber as well.

Update: I didn't want to think it would, but sorry to say, this cereal did made me sick. Prob nothing to do with the cereal, but my stomach just couldn't take it. ---- I've been texture and crunch deprived for about 6 years now. I have gastroparesis. GPers can't have high fiber or high fat food. These days, Keto diets have taken the lead and left us in the dust. All that's left is rice crispies and other high sugar kids cereals. I have Sjogrens, so I need minimal to no sugar to preserve my teeth. Although this cereal isn't sugar free, it's much, much lower than most non-keto cereals. I just wish all cereal makers would leave the sugar off it all together and let us use the sweeteners we prefer on our own. Many of the reviewers commented that this cereal is too crunchy. I love that it doesn't get soggy in milk. But then I also love it dry like popcorn. The almonds are nice but I would prefer it without because of my limitations. That said, I can pick most of them out and toss them into my husband's mouth. No waste. He can eat ANYTHING. Thank you Premier Protein, for your shakes and this yummy cereal.

The almond slices are the only happy in this cereal to experience, and I don't even really like almonds. This cereal... where to begin... It starts out looking "mmm" and the milk will start to get some chocolate action going, and it makes you feel excited to take the first bite. The first bite... didn't judge too harshly because it is a "good for you" cereal. 2nd bite... I was starting to get eww'd. 3rd bite... I was questioning why I would even do this bite... 4th bite... The cardboard aspect of chewing and the quickly faded attempt at flavor is even more fleeting... 5th bite... Got really mad over it all and came to write a review. 6th bite... My final attempt after leaving it to sit while doing this review. I'm still chewing on it, and there is no "softening" it up...gah, this is just Awful!!! The cereal is not worth the money. It is beyond awful tasting, for what taste it even brought to the bowl aside from the thinly sliced almonds. If you ever feel like you need to punish yourself for eating naughty or just in general...this is the cereal for the job.

Cardboard chips, chocolate is good flavor though, just like sweetened cocoa powder in taste.. seems it was a mistake to buy 2 boxes cause i assumed i would like this one given its a brand name, i've had the shakes in this flavor and i love chocolate...but, nope the texture is just not good to us.. i also bough TRUELY variety protein cereal pack to try out at same time, that one is AWESOME if you like sweeter cereal..

I was expecting it to not be sweet enough because the strawberry version isn't. I figured I'd sprinkle on a little monk fruit or something. I don't need to. It tastes better than I thought it would. I like to snack on cereal late at night and I always end up eating the sugary stuff my family brings home. I hope this cuts down on the temptation. I pair it with Fair Life milk because it has more protein and a little less carbohydrate than other lactose free milks.

taste like a healthier version of frosted flakes. Clearly it is not sugary and sweet but it definetly hits the spot if you want cereal.
