Extremely light and moderately breathable compared to other boots. They are not your typical ankle length boot meaning they will not prevent a sprained ankle like most boots can if you were to bend your ankle on accident. This is not a design flaw, it’s just not what it was designed to do. It is a lightweight boot. These boots are comfortable and if you pick the right size, your foot won’t slide, even if you order half an inch longer than what you’re used to. That being said, they are fantastic for walking on a trail and they are durable enough for long walks. Good for an urban jungle setting. Just avoid wet environments, they are not as slip resistant as I thought, and they are not waterproof, because they are lightweight. Wet roads, yes. Wet tile floors or any wet smooth surface, no go. They are not meant for cold environments and are not meant for protection meaning that if something lands on your foot, you will feel it! [Side Note]: No steel toe! Although, they make great use for CQC scenarios (Close Quarters Combat). They are light meaning that you won’t have to work that hard to move your feet when performing quick maneuvers like sweeps, kicks, locks, etc., they are nimble and often times in a hand to hand combat scenario, if you can get your foot positioned correctly where it needs to be faster than the opponent can, you have an advantage, and these boots definitely shine in moments like these! They are also really effective when sneaking. They don’t make a sound and their lighter build makes crouching efficient. This is of course, pertaining to an environment that has little obstructions, like an urban setting. Can’t say if they are as effective in the woods or any rural setting for that matter. Mainly due to uneven ground and higher chances of obstructions but I haven’t tried these boots in these environments so be mindful of what the job calls for. [Side Note]: They also make fantastic running boots. If you need to get from point A to B in a short amount of time, these boots are meant for that. So long as it’s not a smooth, wet floor.

Good quality
Great quality and been using them for over a year now! Love the fit, and they’re super comfortable! They feel thin and lightweight but still tough! Would recommend!

Looks like a boot, feels like a sneaker
These Boots are honestly so sneaky. Oakley managed to make a military regulation boot that feels like a sneaker and as light as one, but still has the super long laces and good durable soles. So many people recommended these to me, and I honestly just regret not buying them sooner. They fit very well, and honestly they're just so snug.

Sole melted off, but overall good boot
So I've been wearing these boots for about a year. I got them because I love hiking, walking, and lots of activities that require boots, and this is just the style that I like best. There's a couple pros and cons with these shoes. Pros: Very comfortable. These were some of my most comfortable shoes, by far. They look cool. I have very rarely gotten blisters in these boots. I trust them enough to do 30+ mile backpacking trips without an issue. The lace up and unlace very easily to get them on/off. Cons: The sole has melted off. There's some kind of glue that holds the rubber sole to the foam middle part (between foot and the rubber that touches the ground), which apparently doesn't do well with the heat. I have had to superglue the edges of one of the soles back on, and today during a hike, the sole for the other boot came 3/4 of the way off. It seemed to gradually re-glue itself, so the photo only shows what was completely unattached at that point. For only a year of wear, it's still a good deal, but not as good in quality as I would have hoped.

So far I really like these
Update Sep 2024: So far I still think these boots will be great. I have been trying to break them in and did get one blister in the process (probably tried to move to fast through the process). Original Review Sep 2024: I compaired with the Danner Tachyon. The Danner seemed good but wasn't as comfortable as the Oakleys in my opinion. Also, the Oakleys felt like they have slightly more ankle support (it is still minimal as it is a very light weight boot) I plan on wearing the Oakleys for training and i will report back if i remember. Pros: Light weight - they weight about as much as a heavy running shoe (I think the Danner was actully slightly lighter) comfy - this is personal preference Cons - not much ankle support. I am not going to try any rucking in these. I didn't need these for rucking as i have my heavy standard issue pair for that.

Hot-Weather Tanks for Hiking and Rucking
These boots are crazy comfortable and lightweight, but they’re not built for wet or cold conditions especially snow. For everything else, though, they’re solid. Perfect for hot-weather hikes, rucks, or just beating them up on the trail. And honestly, they look damn good too.

Received used shoes
I specifically ordered a new pair, but instead, I received a used one. This is unacceptable.

Great Boots
I bought these for my son who is in the military. He loves them and says they are awesome. He was getting awful blisters from another brand he bought but these ones haven’t given him blisters from the start-fingers crossed! They are a light boot too so good for running and in the field. I would like to get him the black but I couldn’t find them on here, so I will keep a look out for them.

Perfect Purchase.
Needed these boots as a replacement for the same. Was unable to purchase in U.K as the size required was unavailable. They arrived from U.S.A ahead of estimated delivery time and were a great price.
