This is not a traditional gochujang ketchup like bibigo style or hot sauce like gochu. Initially, it hits like a Tabasco pepper mash flavored gochujang hot sauce with a touch of ketchup sweetness. Equal amounts of flavor go with the heat. It is unique and it is my new go-to. I wish this brand much success. I'm almost out of my initial bottle and have ordered more already.

This is not your regular gojujang, this is the ketchup version of it. Very loose like ketchup with a mild spice like gojujang. Personally, I prefer the thickness of real gojujang. Meh.

I grow many different kinds of pepper plants and make several different hot sauces from scratch every year so it is meaningful that I only have positive things to say about this hot sauce. It has an nice upfront kick of Gochujang flavor that then quickly mellows out and ends very smooth.It goes excellent on everything I have tried it on so far with eggs being an exceptional medium for it. Everyone I know that has tried this has been a huge fan.Give it a shot, you will not regret it.

A friend had told me about the "First Batch" Hot Sauce and I decided to give it a try.Super yummy ketchup lite sauce with a nice amount of heat! Enjoyed with some pork chops.

My concern was that it was on sale and not mentioned that it will expire in 2 months. Not good. I wound up giving it away because I won't use it that quickly. I won't buy it here again.

This gochujang is the perfect balance of heat, sweet, and savory. I’ve been incredibly surprised at its versatility, equally at home as a marinade or topping. It does it all, and very well.

We’ve really enjoyed this as a replacement for buffalo sauce on hot wings. It’s a bit sweeter and tangier than a traditional buffalo sauce, but works really well! We actually like it a good bit better than Frank’s. Consistency-wise it is thicker than most American hot sauces, but thinner than traditional gochujang; a little bit thinner than ketchup.
