This mirror does not have auto dimming capability. It has a two pin to four pin adapter if your truck has auto dimming, but it won't auto dim for night. This mirror is very poor quality/cheaply made, as the bezel is significantly thinner and the mirror lacks any metal stabilizer prongs to help stop vibration. The glass also has some distortion to it versus the factory mirror. The big issue for me was the turn signal arrow did not work, as the internal pins inside the connector are smaller than the factory pins and would not make a connection. I had to cutoff the connector and solder on the old factory connector to get the turn signal to work. Because of all these drawbacks I struggle to recommend this mirror, but the price is certainly appealing.

We were not at all pleased with this replacement mirror for our Escalade. There are not instructions for how to change out the mirror. Plus it feels very thin and cheaply made. Sorry, but it's just not good enough for my Caddy!
