It's kind of disappointing that the Byrna kits don't come with this 7-round mag (they're 5), but this is a nice spare to have. It is the same size as the standard mag, but holds two more rounds by staggering them instead of stacking them straight on top of each other. My only gripe is that it doesn't seem like this should cost upwards of $40.

I have several of the 5 shot Byrna mags and this was my first 7 round mag. I normally run full mags of the max OC rounds and have had no problems with the mags. This mag, being something of a double stack, had feeding issues due to the fact that one of my OC rounds leaked a little (they do that). This resulted in the resin gunning the feed of the mag. I then had to strip the mag, clean it with alcohol, and then oil the spring before I reloaded it. It then worked fine with the kinetics, and I kept the OC for the other mags. In all, I would use for full loads of kinetic rounds, but would leave the OC for the 5 round mags.
