The firmware updated perfectly and flawlessly. The configuration software is only 2 mb and works perfectly. No bloat, no services running. You set up the mouse and it sores 5 profiles which can be selected through a button on underside of mouse. Coating is very smooth and dry and does not show fingerprints or smudges etc (white model). Some might find it a little slippery, but my last mouse had a funky coating that was stickier. I prefer this coating. Perfectly designed, manufactured and supported by constantly updated software support (firmware and configuration software). Would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a good quality mouse. I use a fingertip grip, and have 20.5 by 10.5 cm hands.
