High quality inflator
I only started cycling last year, and since getting on the saddle, have not looked back. I believe that prevention is better than cure, and as a result have kitted my bikes with what I consider to be the best puncture resistance tyres on the market (Continental GP 4000 s2). However, one should always be prepared for a road side emergency. Carrying a pump is fine, however, I have recently been introduced to these CO2 inflators. The inflator is well packaged (as shown in the attached picture) and contains instructions on how to use it. The finish of the product is very good, and has an industrial design to a very high standard. The valve attached is stiff, and the inflator itself is very light in weight, and can easily fit into a cycling jersey's rear pocket or saddle bag.The operation behind them is simple. Simply insert a CO2 canister (sold separately) into the inflator, and you are ready to release the gas from the canister into your tyre. I have tried this with my bike which has ores valves, and it was very quick and easy. I used Lifeline 16g CO2 inflators, and the psi of my tyre was at ~115, which would be perfect for getting back home and fine-tuning with a proper pump. One thing I should add is that if yo leave the CO2 in the tyre, it will make your tyre flatter a lot quicker than normal air, so releasing the CO2 canister back at home and re-pumping with a floor pump is highly recommended. I got this information from a GCN video.All-in-all, I am very impressed with CO2 inflators, and this one is quite exceptional. It works well, has a good build and has a premium finish. Highly recommended if you would like a hassle free and quick way to inflate your tyres at the roadside. 5/5Note: I was sent this product for free to provide an honest and unbiased review.

A Quality tool that does a good job and looks decent.
First impression is a well finished, robust and detailed tool. The polished machined metal canister is threaded to attach to the gas controller / nozzle by a close threaded. A 12g or 16g CO2 canister sits inside the metal canister which acts to insulate your hand when the CO2 is released.CO2 release is regulated using a small shaped anodised lever that is threaded into the nozzle. Turn anti-clockwise to open – the direction required to open / close is embossed on the lever – it is easy to control. You only need to open the lever by a small amount to release the CO2 and this needs to be controlled so that you do not risk over-inflation.The CO2 canister screws into the underside of the nozzle and the outer canister is then screwed into place. You use threaded type CO2 canisters and these are widely available online at bike shops. Any 12g or 16g threaded canister will fit this tool. The quality is good with a nice titanium finish and a solid feel – it’s a bit of nice bike bling without feeling over-stated. I received a helpful e-mail from Mike explaining how it all works – but to be honest it’s very simple; press it onto the valve as you would a pump and turn the lever to inflate. The tool is 12 Cm length and weighs 117g including 16g CO2 canister so it fits nicely into the pocket of your bike jersey and will go into a medium size saddle bag alongside a spare tubeThe inflator comes with a spare rubber o-ring that creates the seal between the gas controller and a CO2 canister - I doubt you’ll need this but it’s nice to have. This is a tool that will last many years and needs very little TLC – put it in your pocket and ride! Roadside pumping will soon be history.

To be honest I'm happy if I never have to use it in earnest
I've only had a non emergency practice with this tool, but it looks and feels well made and seems to function well. To be honest I'm happy if I never have to use it in earnest, but it's certainly ideal to carry around in the same bag.

Put a little silicone grease on the o rings etc.
I have been transporting pumps etc for 1000's of miles. My mountain bike pump, after a few muddy rides, unknown to me had been collecting mud insie, when I took it off to try, I could not use it, it was totally gunked up with mud. My road bike the bracket to my pump had broken with vibration, it being a road bike. So, I finally bit the bullet and decided to go with CO2.I got this and a pack of cylinders, i thought it best to waste one to try.I also think its a good idea to smear a little silicone grease on the o rings to make sure you get that seal.If you have not used anything like this before, you need to know, things are going to get cold, very colder, colder than you've experienced.Holding the valve a cylinder body the top of this pump, is not recommended, you fingers will freeze to it and you will be burnt.First off, screw the cylinder in tight, until it stops, make sure the valve is closed. Then attach to the tyre be it schrader or presto. Then slowly open the valve, the gas will start to escape but only a little movement will inflate the tyre and it will do so fast. You will only need half a cylinder maybe to inflate a road tyre, nearly all for a 27.5 and all of it for a 29.The rest you will have to waste..You will then find the top of the pump and valve covered in ice. When you get home, you will need to release the CO2 and pump up your tyre with a air pump, the CO2 will leak through your inner tube within a day or so.This pump is easy to use, to control the gas flow.I will carry this now instead of a pump.

Perfect in both form and function
Small, lightweight, well-made and easy to use with instructions provided by seller message on here, mine worked perfectly on my first try-out minutes after unpacking, filling a 700C x 25 road tyre to required pressure in about two seconds. I bought this more expensive model for its compact size, and packed in my saddlebag with two CO2 canisters (one turned upside down inside the casing) it takes up very little room. It'll be a godsend when I need it, miles from home in the invariably freezing and pouring rain. Good seller, good product - highly recommended.

Great Quality Inflator
The media could not be loaded. I finally needed a Co2 inflator while on the trail last week. I had the front tire roll off the bead of the rim during a hard fast turn and it was impossible to re-seat it using only my small hand pump.Luckily another rider in our group had his Co2 inflator and we were able to re-seat the tire in less than a second with it. Once re-seated I was able to use the hand pump to inflate the tire the rest of the way.I like this inflator because I can store the canister upside down inside of it until needed. Which is fantastic since I've only needed to use one once in three years of constant riding. It may not be something you need frequently but it is a life saver when it is needed.
