This product is entirely analogue and would suit areas such as sheds, kitchens, caravans, etc, where you may get damp.When the tablet has dissolved and the water receptacle is full, you can just empty the water and place a new tablet, which, at the time of writing, is 8.99 for 4. The design is functional, and they claim each tablet lasts for 3 months. I recommend this product as it's a reasonably priced product for the function it offers.

I recently ordered this moisture absorber due to a condensation issue in our home. Previously, I relied on disposable options, but I was drawn to this model for its refillable design.I was larger than anticipated. Nevertheless, the container's design is quite stylish and the overall build quality is excellent. The product is advertised as being effective in spaces up to 20 square metres and lasts up to 90 days per fill.The usage is straightforward: simply remove the moisture-absorbing tab from its sealed packaging, place it inside the container, and secure the lid.We positioned it on top of a bookcase in our in our dining room, where we have French doors, which are a hotspot for condensation. The process for when the tab dissolves is simple too; the collected liquid can be safely disposed of in the toilet.Since starting to use it, we have noticed a difference — the condensation in our dining room has nearly disappeared; which I'm pleased about!In conclusion, I am impressed with this moisture absorber; it is excellent at reducing moisture. I also love the eco-friendly, refillable design which is a practical, effective solution.

The extractor fan in my en-suite did not work effectively. Before I change a new one, I have been using moist absorber to help with minimizing the moist and this was the most effective one I have used. Easy to use. Simply place the thick tabs in the top layer. As it absorbs the moist in the air, the lower container catches the liquid. Since using this moist absorber, there has been not much steam formed on the tiles and cabinet outside the shower enclosures. Mold takes much longer to build up.If you are looking for a moist absorber to help with moist control, I highly recommend this product.

According to the product information, one of these damp absorber tablets is supposed to last 2-3 months, well, that is absolute crap. Mine barely lasted 3 weeks....! Not impressed at all.Edit - I also purchased a box of 4 of the replacement tablets, which turned out, I believe, to be fake! The one that came with the unit worked ok, just did not last anywhere near as long as advertised. The first replacement I used, however, somehow melted like an icicle down through the drainage hole, completely blocking it and creating a stalagmite effect, causing all the moisture to gather in the top and overflowing through the vented lid making a horrible sticky mess. I had left it in the bottom of my airing cupboard so was not aware of the issue. Do not buy!

This is a really simple to use water absorber. You simply unwrap the large tablet, pop it into the top and within hours this is absorbing water from the atmosphere. I’ve put it in my downstairs loo, which I don’t think was a particularly damp location but within a few days, I have a good 2-3cm of water collected in the container. Do this obviously works quickly.I’ve used some of the disposable type water absorbers before but the fact that this is reusable means there is less single use plastic going to landfill. It also seems to be more efficient.The container is large enough to collect a decent amount of water but small enough that you can place it somewhere discreetly. It’s decent value for money, although you will have to buy refills (apparently around every three months).
