BadAce Swiss K31 Scout Mount for Long Eye Relief Scopes with Low-Profile Picatinny Rail

I like to hunt with old military rifles, but my eyes just cannot do open sights any more. This mount went on quick and easy with no drilling or modification to my K31. I topped it off with a Burris Scout Scope, sighted the gun in, then bagged a nice 12 point white tail the next weekend!

Literally installs in minutes, the scope is far enough forward so that it doesn't interfere with spent case ejection.

instructions were easy

Sturdy mount, doesn't wiggle even a hair on my rifle. Installation took maybe 5 minutes, and was incredibly straight-forward. Only "downside" is that any optic mounted on this will require an additional cheek rest on the stock, unless you're comfortable using a chin-weld when firing. I put downside in quotations because I can think of no alternative way to mount an optic on this rifle that would avoid this problem; Ace has made an outstanding product here, in both reliability and simplicity.

After Installing the mount twice, trying 3 different set of rings. I came to the conclusion that the mount is slightly angled, zeroing the vortex crossfire 2-7 scout is impossible without chiming one set of ring. It seems well built and is easy to install but that does not matter if you cannot zero the scope. wasted like 60$+ of ammo, three trips to the range, and a lot of time before I arrived at this conclusion.
