Perfect paint match, easy to use.
Perfect color match to fill in dits on my 2009 Toyota Corolla Super White hood and all around car! Could hardly tell where it was afterward! Easy to use, dries quick. Was able to polish car almost immediately after use.

A good match for F-150 DX paint code, but not perfect. Terrible price.
A good match for my 2008 F-150 with paint code "DX" which is a dark blue. The match was not perfect, but it was good enough. This paint goes on easily enough and dries fast. I like the included clear coat. This touch up paint doesn't hide the scrapes and dings on my truck but it makes the damage look much less obvious. My only complaint is the $18 price. What a total rip off.

If you are repairing your Tesla Model 3 Rims, This may help.
I'll cover a few things first, the packaging is confusing. ALWAYS stand the paint with the fat end down, with the label facing you and readable, remove the top cap by unscrewing it and the brush will be facing down into the paint, unscrew the bottom to access the foam brush with the clear coat. do NOT hold the paint with the label upside down or you will spill everything when you open it. If you are repairing your Tesla Model 3 Rims, the color is spot on. To make a perfect repair, do not rush and just apply the paint to the scraped rim. . Just applying paint will look better than the scrapes, but not very good. Get fine grit sand paper and sand the surface flat first The color match will be so close you will not spot it afterwards. I sanded with two different grit sandpaper, applied gray primer, and let it dry for 24 hours before applying the first coat of paint. Let it dry a good amount of time, because the first coat of paint will tend to liquefy if you apply the second coat too soon. The paint is actually quite thick, so be aware that when you start the painting process. I didn't use the clearcoat because the color and shine are so close to the original paint since I scraped my rim after owning my new car only three days. I compiled this from my experience using it and confirming the advice given by other users. A side note, the paint has a pressure sensitive point that will apply paint by pressing the tip to the object you wish to apply the paint to. I don't recommend using it on the rims. it tends to apply thick blobs. Also, there is very little paint in the kit, so be sparing with it. The picture is the actual repaired rim, and the damage was pretty obvious. Take your time, and be patient, the repair will look great! I hope this helps,

It Is Either Old and Doesn't Mix or Is Defective.
After shaking the tube for several minutes the content looked like clear coat with some metal flakes in. Over the next 15 minutes I would shake the tube for a couple of minutes and then check the results and after 15 minutes the best I got was a silver looking transparent color you could see through with metallic chips. I have use this exact same type of touch up pen on my Nissan truck and my Ford mustang with great results! The paint has always mixed with no problems and it has matched the factory color of my truck and mustang. I don't know if this was old stock that the paint had separated and dried out or what but it was a waste of time and money! The grey in the picture is not the paint that is the factory primer. The little white specks are the paint and you can see where it over laps the factor white paint it looks grayish silver no what to it at all.

If you're ordering a tricoat, be aware, this is but ONE part of three.
I got this for a Ford that is a pearlescent white. If you use this color alone, it will NOT match the car's original color if the scratch is anything more than superficial. If you're down to bare metal or black plastic, you have more work to do. I got this to paint a replacement backup sensor that comes unpainted (black plastic). In order to get it to match, I sprayed the sensor with primer, let that dry. Then I sprayed the primer with plain white. Next, I used the product being reviewed here since it adds the metallic/pearlescent finish. Finally, you have to clearcoat it or it will be a matte finish. If you just brush this on anything other than a white finish, it will just be metallic silver. You must also add a gloss to it. The finished product once you do everything properly, is a very good match to the original, but you can't just smear this stuff on by itself. The only part I didn't like is that the consistency is a lot runny. If you're not careful, the surface will not be even. Also, it will take at least two light coats applied gently. The stuff in the pen has a lot of solvent and will remove the white layer below if you're not careful. One quick brushstroke and be done. In the photo, you can see the upper right (old) sensor side was primed and painted with the Duplicolor brush. It is silver, not white. On the face of the sensor, you can see the actual car color. On the lower left sensor side, you can see a sloppy test with primer, white, and Duplicolor (did not gloss the test part).
