Sabian16" HHX Evolution Crash, Brilliant Finish

This cymbal is everything you wish for on a crash great response at all volume, is like a cristal breaking when you hit it, the only thing I don`t like (and thats why i give 4 star) is the extra polish finish i always love the things that show more roots of the material that are made of, and if you or some one else grab this cymbal whit their hands the finger print will stay in the polish finish and some friends whit old sabian cymbals told that if you don`t clean it up riaght away the cymbal will be mark whit that finger print forever

This is by far, my favorite cymbal! Very Explosive sound. I'm only giving it 4 stars because the brilliant quickly tarnishes, but nothing that Crazy John's Brilliant Finish cymbal cleaner won't fix.....highly recommended

You seriously won't believe it till you hear/see this beauty. I don't see how it can get any better as far as a buttery thin crash goes. This thing has it all, response, glassy decay, beautiful initial attack. I really have never been more happier with a 16" crash, and I don't see how anyone could be ANYMORE happy. Dont waste anymore time if you are in the market for a crash.

Having been a drummer for over 50 years, I've played and owned my share of cymbals. This ranks as one of the finest. I also have the HHX Manhattan 20" ride which is mellow and smoky and perfect for small clubs. This crash has a super sweet tone that can be crashed or rode with a bunch of sympathetic wash. Highly rated line from the great Sabian cymbal company.

the most impressive dish I think the truth has a volume filling super nice and short at any time is amazing how good this dish sounds like I am to do with my sound full plate in my battery maybe a 18 inch thanks

I just acquired the 16" version of this cymbal after owning the 18" for a few years now. The cymbal is paper thin and responds quickly from sticks to fingertips. This is a note to all you Latin and hand percussion players. The tone is bright but not harsh or brittle. It has medium sustain with dark wash that microphones and I absolutely love. If you think the price is steep, remember the HH stands for Hand Hammered, so every cymbal is one of a kind!

This is now one of my favorite cymbals. After using it for a few months I can easily say it beats out my old k customs!!

I bought a new HHX Evolution cymbal, I really the Evo line. Great cymbal, dark sound but is a bit expensive.... But I really love the sound!!! recommend to all
