I'm never sure how to review these supplements. Whether if it actually benefits you or not is a question. But the supplement is easy to take. No foul flavors and easy to swallow. It's an interesting source too as I have never seen prickly pear before.

"There are a lot of potential benefits from nopal powder. I take it primarily for inflammation. It is almost like an all in one supplement. I really don't think you can go wrong with taking this. Especially when it breaks down to about $5/month.The 2 capsule dosage of 1000mg is well within the range that you find (450mg to 3000mg). You get a 180 day supply so you can easily adjust the dosage based on your needs.There isn't any third-party testing for this supplement. At the same time they're just grinding up nopal cactus and putting it in a cactus. I personally don't see the need."

It's an interesting supplement and unique to find. Not too many other options I found for prickly pear that are packaged into capsules like this. I found it to be easy to eat and pleasant tasting, not too hard to swallow either.I'm not sure if the dosage from capsules is really high enough to get the health benefits that the cactus itself has, but that's going to vary person by person anyway. I'd say to look into it though beyond just using a dosage from the package.
