Wanted to use this for step aerobics and body pump and originally I bought another one which I'm going to return as I couldn't lie down on it properly for pump and tried doing step classes on it and, though sturdy, was so small I struggled to do exercises properly and wasn't high enough for me (I'm an Irish dancer training to do the inca trail so needed something more challenging). I bought this with the additional step (the black blocks) and its perfect to lie on (the same size as the one at the gym and I'm 5ft4) and is so high I'll easily do triceps dips on it and everything I want. At 10 stone I'm not light and its very sturdy and I'm not gentle when using it! Highly recommend.

My husband and I are trying to get/keep fit and neither of us want to go out jogging. We live in a flat, and our Doctor suggested running up and down the shared staircase outside our flat!Apart from the fact we are in our 60's, we don't want to look daft when our neighbours come out of their doors.However, that aside, this simple stepper is wonderful for us. We can raise or lower the height and without any working parts to squeak or seize up and we can step up and down at our own pace, this will give us exercise without becoming stressed. We put it in front of the TV and off we go. (Not both at the same time), but it is easy and I hope it works!

I read quite a lot of reviews before deciding to purchase this stepper from GallantSports. I am delighted I chose this model from this company. Delivery was very quick and item was well packaged. It is of great sturdy quality and a perfect size for placing ones whole foot on whilst performing the stepping exercise, which I was told I must do by my local gym instructor. The feet are non slip which is useful as all my floors are wooden. Just under 20 quid is a great price. I really do think this model is every bit as good as the one I was using at my gym. This is another item for my own "gym" at home and will go towards saving me bucket loads by not having to fork out rediculous amounts of money to attend the local gym. The customer service from Gallant is second to none and is most refreshing in today's world. If I decide to add more equipment to my own "gym" I will definitely be paying Gallant a visit first!5 stars no problem here.

I was just about to order another brand costing around £24 when I saw this. Not only was it cheaper but the spec was a little better. It had the extra height. Many of the steppers only extend to a level 2 ie 15cm. This one, with the added extension adjusts to a level 3, ie 21cm. It really makes a difference when you want to push yourself for that extra cardio workout at home. I wouldn't have thought it would make such a difference but it does.It was also slightly wider than others I had looked at.I am reallly pleased with the product. It is sturdy. the extensions are easy to deal with. Bit like putting huge lego bricks together. It looks good. The price is good

Not much to surprise you with this product, sturdy, good quality step but the additional level feet are a bit of a problem, the black ones seem a little to tight and the coloured ones a bit too loose. One of them chipped but not so much that it stops it being used. I've given up adjusting them and go with just one height for fear of having more bits break off but that's not a problem for me. The step itself has a good grip and anti-slip texture and able to do Shaun T's Transform:20 without killing myself!

I use it for reverse lunges, calf raises, and some other stuff that involves jumping on and off it. I've had it on my tile floor and it doesn't slip - at least not yet. I'm aware others have had trouble with slipping after a while. So far so good though and it feels sturdy under my feet. It also happens to fit perfectly under my storage bed, so I'm pleased I can tuck it away when it's not in use.

Stunned and very pleased that this turned up a week ahead of the estimated delivery date. The step itself is exactly as described and so easy to put together when wanting to lift the height. I am not sure why one reviewer says the height can't be raidsed?The extra feet are stored underneath the step for convenience! Lightweight and so easy to move about. I am 5'6" tall and if I lie on it I find it the perfect length for me for body pump style exercise. Might struggle if you are 6'? . Would definitely recommend this item and this seller.

Great item. Bought it for my 9 year old daughter to help her get some exercise in on a daily basis instead of sitting on the ipad. She really loves it and there are loads of free videos on youtube to follow (Jenny Ford is good for kids).It has 3 adjustable height settings. It is rated up to 250kg which is pretty impressive. I've given it a good test and I'm an 18st bloke with no issues at all.The feet sections clip underneath so the whole thing has a low profile and slides easily under the couch for storage. Really happy with this purchase and great value for money.
