The best WiFi camera I’ve ever bought
I’ve got a whole home security system that’s hard wired and I needed a camera that I could use indoors at certain points like at all my plants while I was away for 2 months on extended vacation. I was so impressed at how easy it was to set up and the app is super easy to navigate and you can add 9 of these on one system. The picture quality and the motion sensor work very well and will notify you immediately if it detects anything out of the ordinary and I will be buying several more for other blind spots in my house like my garage and I would recommend it to any family or friends so if your looking at a small at a low price point but high quality

Some connection issues, but it usually works
I almost returned this camera because of the connection issues, but I’m glad I decided not to. It usually works well, I just can’t 100% trust that I’ll be able to access the live feed. Playback is not entirely seamless, but it mostly works. I appreciate that there is no monthly subscription fee, and for privacy reasons I like that the video is saved to an SD card rather than the cloud. It was easy to set up, and when it works I really like it. I was hoping the connectivity issues mentioned by other reviewers were the exception, I have the same issues. I sometimes get an error message when I try to either access live view or replay video, or both. It’s especially frustrating when I get the notification that “there is a person in your backyard” but when I check the video, it says, “Uh-oh! Something went wrong. Tap to retry.” I tap to retry repeatedly, and it won’t load. Very creepy to be told that there is a person in my home while I’m unable to view the video! So I solved this by turning off my notifications. The connectivity issues can be caused by the wifi too, so I don’t think it’s fair to blame the camera entirely. Overall, it can be frustrating sometimes when I run into these issues, but it’s not constant, and the quality is not bad, especially for the price, storage method, and lack of subscription fees.

Don't Work Long
I went Lorex because you can get recordings without a subscription.I LOVED them and bought them for all over the house, inside and out. After just a few months, however, one said the memory card was corrupted.Of course, it would be the one I have up on the eaves of my very tall house! I am a widow, so getting out the ladder was not easy but I was able to get up there and change the sd card. Not long after, that same camera said the same thing with the new sd card. I contacted Lorex about it and they needed info only found only on the camera and I couldn't bring myself to climb up and uninstall the camera so I never did get that resolved. It is a useless camera in a very 'strategic-to-my-safety' plan place. There has to be a better way.In the beginning, my daughter, who lived with me, and I could both access the alerts and recordings simultaneously. It gave us peace of mind to know we both would be alerted when either of us were home alone. Suddenly, only one person was allowed to have access. I don't know how that update is useful for a SECURITY camera in any household with more than one person. If you are home alone, you need to know who is at the door, or who is in your driveway, or heaven forbid, in your basement because they've broken in!Next ... as time has gone by, every camera I bought has gone offline at some point or other. Sometimes I can fix it from my phone, but other times I have to get to the cameras, which can be easy or difficult depending on where they are.Lastly, it's been over a year now and EVERY camera's sound quality is very bad. They either have a whining sound in the background, obscuring what I need to hear, or they have a low thumping sound, also obscuring.Picture quality is good. The alerting system is great and the recording ability with no subscription is still great but I have since found another brand that is cheaper and does the same thing. Time will tell if I have the same issues with the new brand. Conclusion: I really like how simple and easy Lorex cameras are, but customer service could be better/easier to work with and sadly, they all, as a brand, start losing quality over a very short time, which, when you are investing in a home that you plan to live in for a lifetime, is not a good investment.p.s. I have 5 different models, so it is a brand problem, not just one model.

Easy to set up, no subscription
Lorex 2K Indoor wifi security cameras are fantastic. The lorex home app is intuitive. It comes with a micro SD card 16gb for recording live feed or snapshots, and playback previous recordings. It uses your home Wi-Fi network. I love the privacy mode to disable the live feed any time. The price is remarkable for this quality of security camera. Best of all, no subscription! Also the picture quality is awesome. The head can bend 90 degrees. It has two-way communication with a room too. The profile is sleek and modern, not obtrusive. Love it so much, I bought another one.
